STATEMENT OF SPORT COMPETITIONS Modern Martial Rules Sport Federation and Sport’s Club RONIN heartily invite You to: INTERNATIONAL, OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS of MODERN FIGHTING RULES SILESIA SAMURAI 8- INTERNATIONAL Attention! The Championships is open and the main idea is to allow the Clubs of different styles and nationalities, a joint sport competition, within the modern and universal formulas, Modern Martial Arts. The secondary goal is to select the best competitors of technical and fights rules, creating the International Team of the MFR. The ultimate goal of the Championships is to promote physical activity, modern formulas of martial arts, especially among young players, and promotion of the campaign of childhood obesity in children. Organizer: Sport’s Club RONIN, patronage WKA, WKN, WKF, WFMC and MFR with support RADLIN town hall. LOCATION AND DATE I 5 – 7 April 2019 r. RADLIN - POLAND (province Silesia), City center of sport and recreation - Radlin, Korfantego 17 street. 50°02'55.1"N 18°28'50.2"E (50.048646, 18.480612) Competition Beat The Gate (Parkour obstacles run) and Beat The Gate mini (for children) will take place on Sunday (20 May) in the trampoline park Fly Park Radlin, Rybnicka 125c street 50°01'38.3"N 18°29'06.9"E (50.027318, 18.485250) RULES II Fighting Rules Point Fighting – stopped fight at standing on the principles of the MFR (kick to the head 2 points, other techniques 1 point) – all age categories. Soft Sticks Fight - fight with soft stick imitating fight with a wooden Philippine stick (allowed hits in the whole body and contact with tatami) – all age categories. Light Contact - continuous, light contact fight on the MFR rules (kickboxing formula is not different from valid in the world) – from 7 to 12 years. Kick Light - continuous, light contact with low kick – from 13 years. Sumo Grappling – it should be turned over or out of line – from 7 years. K1 Ring – kickboxing fight, full contact in the ring on K 1 rules – from 16 to 44 years. Pointfighting Team Challange – pointfighting team (3 competitors) - children / adults Pointfighting Gran Champion – open weight category - senior men. Technical Rules: Freestyle Musical Forms – martial art forms with music (mixing of styles is preferred). Freestyle Musical Weapons Forms – martial arts forms with music, with traditional weapons (weapons of hard and soft styles are allowed). Hard Style Kata – any form of kata with techniques from hard styles (form does not have to represent a stylish prototype, it can not be longer than 1 minute or less than 30 seconds, the form can not contain soft techniques (wu shu), acrobatics or tricking). Duo Fight Scene – fighting scenes in pairs (variety of self-defense techniques, spectacularity, reality). Trick Battle – players with a cup system they compete with each other by doing martial arts tricks. Beat The Gate – specially prepared obstacle run for children and adults with Parkour elements and martial arts (speed - kids) and freestyle - from 13 years. Break Special Technique – special techniques break down wood-like panels placed in special stands (the most important are spectacular techniques). Trick Battle Team Challange – team tricking. Championships schedule: SCHEDUL E III 5.04 (friday) MOSiR Radlin – forms and Duo Fight Scene. 15.00 – 16.30 - Registration for Technical competition (registration, weighing and measuring for fighting competition until 20.00). 16.30 – 19.00 - Hard Style Kata (eliminations). 17.30 – 21.00 - Freestyle Musical and Freestyle Musical (W) Forms (eliminations). 19.00 – 21.00 - Duo Fight Scene (eliminations). 21.00 - Expected end of day. 6.04 (saturday) MOSiR Radlin – Soft Stick Fight, Pointfighting, Braek Special Technique, Trick Battle and Team 08.00 – 09.30 - Registration, weighing and measuring. 09.30 – 10.00 - Referee and coach briefing. 10.00 – 10.20 - Opening ceremony (presentation of the Teams, Miners' orchestra). 10.30 – 12.30 - Soft Stick Fight (all age categories). 12.30 – 15.30 - Point Fighting. 15.30 – 16.00 - Lunch break. 16.00 – 18.00 - Break Special Technique. 16.30 – 19.00 - Point Fighting Team Challenge and Grand Champion. 16.30 – 18.30 - Trick Battle (eliminations kids). 19.00 – 21.00 - MFR SHOW – Trick Battle (seniors and finals kids), TB Team Challenge, Finals: Hard Style Kata, Freestyle Musical (W) Forms, Duo Fight Scene. 21.30 - Expected end of day. 7.04 (niedziela) - MOSiR Radlin – K 1 Ring, Light Contact and Kick Light, Sumo Grappling. 09.00 – 10.30 - Registration, weighing and measuring. 10.30 – 11.00 - Referee and coach briefing. 11.15 – 14.00 - Kick Light. 11.30 – 17.00 - K1 Ring (eliminations). 12.30 – 17.30 - Light Contact and Sumo Grappling. 18.00 – 20.00 - Finals K1 Rin, Kick Light and Sumo Grappling. 20.30 - Expected end of SILESIA SAMURAI VIII. 17.03 (sunday) - FlyPark Radlin – Beat The Gate (speed and freestyle) – Parkour track - you start in competition and jump for 3 hours for free !!! 08.30 – 09.30 - Registration. 09.30 – 11.45 - Beat The Gate (speed - kids) 10.00 – 11.45 - Beat The Gate (freestyle – junior, senior) 12.00 - Expected end competitions. Attention: In case of a large number of competitors or unforeseen problems, the program may change (the schedule published at the competition is binding). The competitor must remain ready for performances with a tolerance of +/- 60 min. Categories: CATEGORIES IV According to the included Category Table. For age categories valid year of birth. The competitor starts in any number of competitions, but only in one category (height, weight). In competiton of Duo Fight Scene pairs can be mixed (girls and boys). If competitors they are different in the age category, then they start in the category of the older player. The presented categories are only illustrative categories. These categories, they are not binding in any case, and the Organizer, in consultation with the Chief Referee, may change categories, while maintaining allowed tolerance of weight, height and age between players in the same category. Attention – big medal chances! (a multitude of categories). THE EXPERIENCE OF VETERANES IS IN THE PRICE - two categories +35 and +45 years old. COMPETITION SYSTEM V Appreciating the players' passion for sports, we have introduced a mixed system to the competition : 3 competitors in the category - fight each with each other (the number of winnings and the sum of scored points in all rounds decide). 4 players - in the right side of the ladder fight for the final, losers in the left - fight for the third place. 5 and more players - to the right of the ladder fight for the final, to the left fight for the third place to two losses. Players will be placed in ladders according to the ELO ranking, training experience and the Club (if possible, players from the same Club do not meet in the first round). START FEES VI Start fees: The starting fee from a player up to the age of 15 years is only 15 EURO for the first competition (you pay extra 5 EURO and take part in any number of competitors). Players over 16 for the first competition pay 20 EURO (you pay extra 5 EURO and take part in any number of competitors). We pay the start fee directly before the Championships during registration. Appreciating the hardships and costs incurred by competitors from abroad, the starting fee for teams from abroad has been reduced by 20% (16 and 20 euro). Also ask the Organizer for a commission for You from the number of players you brought!!! Awards: AWARDS VII For the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, commemorative medal SILEISIA SAMURAI 7 - International, plus diploma. For all players, the SS7 commemorative diploma. Statuettes and material prizes for The Best Techniqal and The Best Fighter. Free warm Silesian dinner for all competitors on Saturday (prepared by renowned and valued Chef Remigiusz Rączka). Water and sweet refreshments on each day of the Championships. Cash prices: First place in Trick Battle (senior mans) – 800 PLN First place in Pointfighting Grand Champion (senior mans) – 300 PLN First place in Freestyle Musical Weapons Forms (senior open) – 400 PLN First place in Beat the Gate - freestyle (senior open) – 300 PLN First place in Beat the Gate - speed (u12 open) – 200 PLN Attention – the prize money is awarded if there is a minimum of 3 competitors in the category. Registration: REGISTRATION VIII Registration, weighing and measuring competitors, takes place before start competition, on each day of the Championships. If competitors start only on the second or third day of the Championships, they can start the Registration on that day. APPLICATION IX Application: From the website www.silesiasamurai.com, (REGISTRATION tab), download competitors_list.xls file to your computer, fill it on your computer, save it and send it to the email address: office@silesiasamurai.com . Registration of players open from 5 February, the current year and will end March 20 (notification after this date will not be possible). Attention ! In order to efficiently organize SILESIA SAMURAI 8 - International, we ask Teams to confirm their presence at the Championships with the expected number of competitors by sending this information to the email: office@silesiasamurai.com , by March 10. - associated in clubs, - having clean sport suit for Kick Boxing or martial arts, - current medical check, - parental consent for participation in Tournament for minors (regarding the Trainer - signing the statement), - insurance policy for players (the Organizer does not insure Tournament participants). The Organizer is not responsible for accidents and their consequences! Starting fees are made when accepting teams during registration, applications are binding !!! The Referee Chief decides about matters not included in this announcement. All protests and complaints are reported - ONLY - team leader or coach to the Organizer of the tournament, or to the Chief Referee. Players will not be able to get medical check on the spot! Medical check signed and stamp only by a sports doctor will be honored. The Organizer reserves the right to correct the program of the event and to combine and change the categories that require it. In the case of a small number of entries in a given category, the Organizer reserves the right to combine categories or create new ones. The Organizer reserves the right to change the regulations of fighting times resulting from organizational reasons. Protests should be submitted to the Organizer - after paying a deposit of PLN 100 to the Organizer (protest can be reported at the latest half an hour after the end of the category, where the situation took place to protest). This amount is not refundable if the protest is rejected. In other matters not covered by these regulations, the decision is made by the Organizer and the Chief Referee. The Organizer asks for absolute scrambling of the deadline for Tournament submissions. Failure to comply with the regulations not allowing a competitor or a team to compete.
