Team registrations open on Friday 10 May 2019 and close on Friday 28 June 2019 at 16:30.

Player transfer & additional players
Player transfer is allowed among/between teams i.e. the team registrar should be notified of
transfer of such player and team captain should also make sure the player is registered into a
new team.
Therefore, player transfer is R100.00 per player and it should be paid at the team registrar in
cash.
Additional players are registered at R100.00 per player.
Please note that for ADDITIONAL GAMES registrations will only be paid at event.
Your team’s registration will only be finalized once DigiTicket SA has received valid proof of
payment (if direct deposit at bank), a completed and signed team registration form and the
team captain receives a confirmation e-mail/sms of participation.

INDEMNITY: Any person entering these premises and/or making use of the facilities on these premises does so at his or her own risk. All parents/guardians are responsible for their children at the premises. Gasegonyana Municipality and DigiTicket SA its’ associates and or organizers, officials and/or sponsors of any event on these premises shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of whatever nature, sustained by or caused to any person while he/she is on the premises and/or making use of any of the facilities on these premises. REFUNDS: Kindly note that teams will be refunded only 50% of their registration fees should they cancel prior to Friday 15 June 2018 at 16:30. Any cancellations after Friday 15 June at 16:30 will yield a 100% forfeit of the registration fee. Kindly note that in terms of liquor license we are not permitted to sell or allow patrons or visitors to sell alcohol, though own alcohol is permitted. Food and soft beverages are allowed to be sold at a stall fee of R500.00. Matches kick off at 10:00am on the 6 July 2019 so the first scheduled two teams are expected to arrive at 09:00am. Team tossing will be conducted on Saturday 29 June 2019 at Boiketlo Tavern – Ga-mmastholela (Batlharos) at 15:00, all team captains are expected to be present and arrive at 16:00 to 16:30. Late team captains will be penalized and team will start their match at a score of 0-1. Teams arriving late at the tournament will be automatically disqualified and will not proceed to the next round. No disputes will be heard in this regard and will be disqualified without refund. A maximum of 10 (ten) players per team may be registered, the 9th and 10th player to be registered is registered out of the affiliation fee therefore the team is liable to pay R100.00 for the extra 2 players. If the extra 2 players are registered on the day of the tournament, the player will not be liable to get prizes, i.e. medals, etc. No U13 PLAYERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO PLAY and no current professional players of PSL, NFD or Netball Premier League will be allowed to enter or participate in the tournament. Any teams fielding illegal players will lose all those previous matches in that round. COMPANY BRANDING: Company banners and branding may NOT be put unless the company is a main or general sponsor of the tournament. Please feel free to bring your unbranded umbrellas and gazebos as it will hopefully be hot, cold, windy on that Saturday. PLAYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING THEIR OWN POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION TO THE TOURNAMENT. IN THE CASE OF A DISPUTE SHOULD A PLAYER NOT BE ABLE TO POSITIVELY IDENTIFY THEMSELVES (by producing a green bar-coded ID, a driver’s license or passport) THE PLAYER IN QUESTION WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM PLAYING ANY FURTHER MATCHES IN THE TOURNAMENT. GAMES In Top 16 soccer tournament and Top 8 Netball tournament, this will be knockout tournament.
KNOCKOUT MATCHES: IF DRAWN AT FULL-TIME, THEY WILL PROCEED TO A THREE KICK PENALTY SHOOT-OUT. PENALTIES WILL BE TAKEN FROM THE CENTRE SPOT WITHOUT A GOALKEEPER. IF THE TEAMS ARE STILL TIED AFTER THAT THEN THEY WILL PROCEED TO A SUDDEN DEATH SHOOT-OUT. THE NETBALL STREAM WILL ALSO HAVE A THREE SHOT SHOOTOUT IN THE EVENT OF A DRAW. Cards (Casino): Knockout rule applies for cards (32 teams), the winner takes all for this tournament, no second or third prize. Silence is the rule for these games, only game jargon is allowed, no communication that is approved will be accepted, if the team is found guilty such, it will be disqualified from the tournament.
External parties who are not playing in the tournament, are not allowed to say or have any
input about the current game or they will be asked to leave the venue.
Normal known rules will be applied for these games unless agreed otherwise by affiliates at
the toss.
Chess:
Knockout rule applies for cards (8 players), the second prize is awarded.

TOURNAMENT RULES & REGULATIONS
1. In the Netball section standard Netball rules and regulations will apply – the only
modification will be that each match will be 30 minutes with two halves of 10 minutes.
2. The referee’s decision is final.
3. Only 6 players (including the goalkeeper) may be on the field at any given time.
4. Rolling substitutions are allowed. Players must tag on and off the field.
5. Soccer matches last 20 minutes i.e. 10 minutes per half and 1 minute in between to
change sides. Referees will use common timing system.
6. If the ball has not crossed the goal line completely between the goal posts when the
final siren/whistle starts, a goal will not be awarded.
7. There is no offside.
8. Goalkeepers may not kick the ball once they are controlling the ball in their hands, i.e.
they must throw the ball – no drop kicks allowed.
9. The back-pass rule for goalkeepers will be enforced i.e. the goalkeeper may NOT
handle the ball after one of the players has passed it to him or thrown it to him from
a throw-in.
10. No slide tackles or playing the ball whilst on the floor.
11. Infringement of rules 8 & 9 will be penalized with an indirect free kick.
12. The goalkeeper may not handle the ball outside the box.
13. Opponents must be 3 meters away from the free kick taker for all free kicks.
14. Any player who receives a yellow card must leave the field for 5 minutes on the
referee’s watch.
15. Disputing the issuing of cards will be regarded as dissent and will result in a 2nd card,
and then a red card, which will result in an immediate suspension and ultimate 1
match suspension.
16. Teams that continually protest any referee’s decisions and delay the restart of play
could be liable of being disqualified for the entire tournament.
17. Penalties will be taken a penalty spot.
18. Normal throw-ins and corner-kicks will be taken.19. Should both teams not arrive, the match will be disqualified.
20. Team captains must sign the score card after the game to verify the results. Once the
result is entered onto the score card as submitted by the referee it will be final. If the
captain refuses to sign the card and does not protest then the result will stand. Kindly
make sure your team name is correct on the match card.
21. Any team found to be fielding any unregistered players during the tournament will be
disqualified in the tournament. The entire team will be disqualified from the
tournament without a refund.
22. Substitutes, coaches, or spectators of teams disrupting a match will be deemed to be
wasting time and may, at the tournament organizers discretion be penalized negative
score of 0-1.
23. Players may not play for more than 1 team in the tournament, players are can only be
play for one team or be registered for 1 team. If a player or team wishes to play for
another team, the team registrar should be informed to register a new player in the
new team, therefore the transfer fee should be payed to the team registrar.
24. All teams should have an identical team kit or t-shirts. All teams will be given a color
of their playing color after they have been approved to play in the tournament.
25. Only 2 substitutes are allowed per match, more than 2 substitutes will result in
disqualification of the team. Potential substitutes (2) should be registered before the
game starts with the referee and changes can to these substitutes can only be made
by the team captain at half-time.
