HISTORY IN HOUSES by Jean Scott-Smith No 91 – Craggs Mill Craggs Mill was situated at the foot of Wet Sleddale where the track went to Thorney Bank and the farms on the west side of the valley. The river here runs through a rocky section known as the Rocks of Sleddale. This was one Crown Inn of the corn mills in the district, the wheel being fed from the mill tarn in Sleddale Park.
