In this program, we will talk about the importance of hands and the different parts that make the hand move. What are we able to do that other animals can’t because we have so many moving parts to our hands? We will then make a moving hand model to help your young person understand how the parts work together to make the hand move. Kaleidoscope Register Tuesday, October 15th | Kaleidoscopes are fascinating for both the young and old! Let’s spend some time together learn- ing what happens on the inside of a kaleidoscope which creates such lovely images. Using some very basic supplies we will build our very own unique kaleidoscopes. Soil Free Planter Register Tuesday, November 19th | Growing vegetables without soil? That may sound crazy, but hydroponics has been around since 1937. We will spend some time learning what plants need to grow and how they get those things. By recycling two - liter bottles we will create a hydroponic container in order to grow your own plant.

She is a French Angora bunny who will be sharing her fiber with Denise in order to make warm and soft yarn. Cosette is a prey animal so she likes it quiet and no fast move- ments. She does not like to be held, but she doesn’t mind being petted if she is hanging out by the baby gate in the office doorway.
