Brief description and objectives
The GEZE products looked at in these seminars are
safety-relevant They need a careful check before commission-
ing and annually recurring services, in order to receive your
statement of approval. In the two-day seminars you learn how
to install hold-open systems, smoke and heat extraction sys-
tems (RWA), to commission automatic door systems or to set
up emergency exit systems. In practical units, you practise
attaching and connecting the individual components, learn
about the settable parameters and test their effect on the
respective plant. Use of every available document, for example
wiring diagrams, assembly drawings and installation instruc-
tions is an important component of all these seminars. On the
respective second day, all the legal aspects relating to installa-
tion, commissioning, testing and maintenance of GEZE prod-
ucts are considered. The pre-conditions for the training to
become an expert are derived from the MBO (Model Building
Ordinance), LBO (Regional Construction Ordinances), the
state-specific (domestic) testing provisions and various
guidelines, standards and manufacturer specifications.
N o t e : After successful completion, you receive a certificate documenting

GEZE hold-open systems. Specifically, you will learn how to work with wiring diagrams, the electrical wiring of a hold-open
system, the commissioning, as well as the test and maintenance contents. You will receive check lists for your subsequent
activity that will simplify the work for you. The seminar ends with a final test.

Brief description and objectives
In accordance with existing regional regulations, it is the task
and duty of a specialist to stay up to date with regard to the
applicable building regulations and the generally recognised
rules of technology. These seminars teach the current informa-
tion about changes and the latest versions of the regulations.
They offer a discussion forum of practical examples and the
application of regulations. Please note that we also provide
online trainings.
