We launched our parish service project on the 1st Sunday of Ad- vent. As we are ending the Christmas Season and quickly approaching the Season of Lent, we must continue to be vigilant in completing the task. Our goal remains to secure 100—150 volunteers to pack at least 35,000 meals at a cost of $13,150 to be delivered to Haiti or Puerto Rico. Sometimes it is difficult to follow up on our good intentions be- cause of our busy lives. During the past few months, we have faced many challenges but we have also received many bless- ings. Let’s continue to share our blessings with the world. Make a commitment of your time, talent and treasure today. To sign up as a volunteer, contact: Nicky Wilkinson at 202-253- 6733 or Cheryl Holley at 202-491-5779 or send an email to olphglobal- meals@gmail.com. Volunteer Forms are in the church and someone will be there to assist you after each Mass every weekend or the forms can be found on the church website. To make a donation, contact Dawnielle Battle at 202-256-2567 or use a donation en- velope in the back of the church and drop it in the offertory collection. Also, you can mail a check made payable to: OLPH Church and write on the memo line of the check “Global Meals”. For information about anything else, contact: Cynthia Battle 202-678-4999 ext. 3 or visit the parish website: www.olphsedc.com
