Vision Statement: Based on the principles of trust and integrity, the vision of the Gulf Coast State College Foundation is to advance the causes of Gulf Coast State College. Mission Statement: Te Gulf Coast State College Foundation’s mission is to create a schol- arship program providing educational opportunities to deserving students. Further, the mis- sion of the Foundation is to enhance the educational programs and student services avail- able at Gulf Coast State College. Trough the active involvement and leadership of citizens united by these purposes, the Foundation serves as an efective liaison between GCSC and the community. Te Foundation assists the College in enriching the community through cultural opportunities and in enhancing the economic development of the community with educational programs. Te Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors from Bay, Gulf, and Franklin counties. Te active board of directors consists of more than 40 community members, all with diverse business and philanthropic backgrounds. Te Foundation, with the support of individuals, businesses, other foundations, and grants has created and endowed more than 600 scholarships. For more than 50 years, the Foundation has served Gulf Coast State College by donating more than $13 million for scholarship and program support.
