Scairt na hÓige …the call of youth Calling young people of Clare and Limerick! Join us on an adventure to celebrate the great Shannon Estuary - a body of water that gives identity to both Clare and Limerick. Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board’s Local Creative Youth Partnership has put together a four-day, Creative Youth programme that takes its energy, inspiration and cultural context from the traditions, stories and songs of the Shannon Estuary and, most importantly, from yourselves. A Sea Shanty workshop will take place at Kilrush Marina to bid farewell to the ship. Only those booked on the 2pm Ilen tour may participate in the Sea Shanty Workshop. 4 5

Limerick City — Thursday 27th Limerick City Gallery of Art — Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August 15.30 — Hiphop dance workshop 16.30 Renowned BBoy and contemporary dance artist, Tobi Omoteso will lead a Hiphop dance workshop for teenagers in Limerick City A Day in the Life of Rathkeale Gallery of Art. A day in the life of Rathkeale began on an Autumn day in 2019, when a group of young girls from Rathkeale Youth Space ventured The Hunt Museum — Saturday 29th through the streets of their town with cameras. Tobi Omoteso — Featured Festival Artist Tobi Omoteso is an internationally acclaimed Nigerian/Irish See for yourself! B-boy and Hiphop freestyle dancer who trained at Broadway Dance Centre New York. As a dance facilitator Tobi has designed and delivered youth programmes for Dance Ireland, Dublin Dance Festival, Waterford Youth Arts, Laois Dance Platform and Dance limerick as well as for groups in Carlow, Cork and Tipperary. Teaching in schools, youth groups and established dance organisations, Tobi has brought his knowledge of Hiphop and breakin’ into a wide variety of youth and academic settings. In 2016 he was invited to share his experiences as part of Dance Ireland’s - Dance Talks. As curator and director of the hugely popular TOP 8 at Dublin Dance Festival, Tobi consistently delivers the best of Irish and international street dance to new audiences.
