After your unique ceremony, your guests arrive at your
pre-dinner function area to relax and enjoy optional
pre-dinner drinks and catering in the lush surroundings
whilst you and your loved ones head off to take photos
in the exquisite settings of Mission Beach.

RECEPTION VENUES All reception food, beverages and service is catered by our popular restaurant – BUKO Mission Beach. We think food is a very special part of your celebration, so all of our menus are flexible and can be tailored to suit individual desires. The Pavilion Featuring an elegant reception area, delectable menus, personalised beverage selection and exceptional service, Palms is the perfect venue for your celebration. Our dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator will work with you both to design a reception that is uniquely you. The Pavilion boasts an open air, private, weatherproof, beachfront deck with a seating capacity for 120* guests, set amongst tropical gardens. Buko Mission Beach BUKO is our onsite restaurant at Castaways Resort and is perfect for an intimate sized reception of fewer that 40 guests. BUKO boasts tropical views of Dunk Island and the Coral Sea. self-contained apartments, a private Beachside Villa, 18 lush
Rainforest Rooms and a Luxury 3 Bedroom Apartment all
spread over three centrally-located properties. With a range
of accommodation to suit all needs and budget, Castaways
is the perfect location for your destination wedding.
DRIFT SPA
Drift away in the hands of our professional day spa therapists.
Drift Spa offers a wide range of beachfront wellness and
relaxation experiences to sooth the nerves before the big day,
celebrate with friends or add to your wedded bliss. Drift Spa
offers specialty treatments for the groom and exclusive group
bookings can also be organised for a special pampering for
up to 10 guests.
The food and wine was exceptional, staff were
friendly, helpful and attentive. Nothing was too much
trouble and our Wedding Co-ordinator went above
and beyond what we could have asked for. We would
highly recommend Castaways to anyone looking for
a venue in Tropical North Queensland
