A ADAPTORS / TRANSFORMERS Should you require an adaptor or transformer, please contact Reception. AIR CONDITIONING / HEATING All Suites are equipped with air conditioning / heating. At yours you can find the remote control. If you need any help, please contact Reception. AIRPORT Faro International Airport is 35 kilometres from the hotel (approximately 40 minutes by car / taxi). ARRIVAL You may start to use your Suite on the day you arrive at 04:00pm. If you arrive earlier, your unit may not be available. We will do everything to prepare it for you as quickly as possible. B BABY-SITTING To get more information on baby-sitting services, please contact Reception. Baby-sitting services must be booked 24 hours in advance. BAR The Hotel has 1 lobby bar at your disposal. Other outlets may be found in premises. Please consult the “Bar, Snack-Bar & Restaurant” section in this Directory. BEDS Should you require an extra bed, please contact the reception. Subject to availability. All units are equips with sofa bed. BREAKDOWNS All equipment in apartments is periodically inspected to ensure that is functioning correctly. However, should you encounter any type of problem or experience difficulty in operating any equipment, please contact Reception. BREAKFAST Buffet breakfast is served every day in the “Grill” restaurant located on floor 0. Breakfast may also be served in your unit by contacting Room Service or the reception on the day before, subject to tax service. C CAR PARKING At your disposal, around the Hotel there are several private parking spaces. We recommend that you do not leave valuable items inside the car as the hotel cannot held responsible for damages or theft of items. CAR RENTAL To reserve cars with or without driver, please contact Reception. CHECKING OUT Check-out time is 11:00am. Should you need to use your Suite until later, please contact Reception the day before you leave the hotel. If it is not possible for us to meet your request, we can hold your luggage, at no additional cost, and you may continue to use the public areas of the hotel. CHEMIST Please contact Reception for information on which chemist nearest the hotel, is open. CHILDREN We have special conditions for children’s stays and meals. Please contact Reception. CHILDREN’S CLUB We have AVAILABLE A Children’s Club from Monday to Saturday and from 5pm until 4pm. Activities are for children between 4 and 8 years old. COMPLAINS If you would like to make a complaint, please contact Reception and ask for the Duty Manager and /or General Manager who will immediately deal with the matter to your satisfaction. COTS Should you require a cot, please contact the Reception. CLEANING Room will be cleaned upon guest request however kitchenware is not included (eg dishes, cutlery, glasses, etc.). HOSPITAL The nearest hospital is the Faro Hospital, located approximately 35 kilometres from the hotel. Belonging also to the National Health Service there’s the “Centro de Saúde de Albufeira” that is located only 3 Kilometres from the hotel. Near are also several private clinics specialized in different areas of medicine. For further information, please contact Reception. I ICE If you need ice, please contact the Bar. INTERNET ACCESS IN YOUR SUITE All public areas as well as your accommodation unit have free broadband internet. Please consult the “Voice and Data System2 section in this Directory. For further information please contact the reception desk. L LAUNDRY Inside your wardrobe are laundry bags. To use the laundry service, please complete the laundry list and contact reception. - Laundry collected before 09:00am will be returned the same day, except on weekends. - Laundry collected after 09:00am will be returned the next day before 1:00pm, except on weekends.
- The Hotel cannot be held responsible for trimmings or buttons on clothes or for alterations to the colour or shrinking due to the washing. Neither can the Hotel be held responsible for any objects left inside clothing. - In the event of loss or damage, the hotel’s responsibility is limited to 6 times the cost of the service provided with regard to items which are subject to complaint within 24 hours after the service has been carried out. The Hotel does not take responsibility for any accessories neither buttons attached to your clothing or changes in colour or even shrinking resultant from the washing process. Also the Hotel does not take responsibility for any object left forgotten on the clothing to be washed. - In the absence of the list accompanying clothing, the amount of items of clothing counted by our services will prevail. - Due to fire safety policies, irons are not allowed in apartments. ROOM KEYS For your own safety all Suites are equipped with electronic locks which work with a magnetic card. In order to open the door of your unit the magnetic card must be closed up to the lock. It will automatically open. If you experience any difficulty please contact the reception. For security reasons, please return your card when checking out. ROOM SERVICE This is a 16 hour service (08:00am – 00:00am). Please consult the menu at the “Room Service List” section in this Directory. S SAFES All Suites are equipped with a safety deposit box. The safe is inside of the wardrobe in the bedroom. If you wish to use it, please contact the reception. The hotel cannot be held responsible for valuables left in the room, outside of the safe. SUSTAINABILITY Santa Eulália Suite Hotel & Spa is managed in an efficient way to save energy resources. Some examples: solar panels to heat water, flow reducers on taps, low flow flushing cisterns, eco- friendly cleaning materials, use of reverse osmosis, use of "leds", all doors are properly caulked and double glazing for a correct reduction of energy costs, unused rooms have closed curtains to avoid temperature losses and good practices in the area of recycling. SWIMMING POOL The swimming pools are for the exclusive use of the hotel guests. The Hotel has 1 outdoor swimming pool for adults and 1 for children, and 1 indoor heated swimming pool in the SPA - 1 floor. SWIMMING POOL TOWELS At your disposal we have pool / beach towels. You can get them from SPA by leaving a deposit amount in the main Hotel Reception at your check-in. T TABACO At the Bar you will find a cigarette machine and a proper area for smokers. Bars and Restaurants “Grill” Restaurant The Restaurant is the space of Santa Eulália Suite Hotel & Spa, where you can enjoy the best of traditional Portuguese cuisine. You can also taste more current suggestions, created daily by our Chef. This is an exquisite and modern space where details have been designed to detail. Breakfast You can start your day with a nice breakfast served at the “Sensações” Restaurant or at the Santa Eulália Grill. Breakfast is served daily from 07:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the summer and from 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the winter. Pool-Bar “Santa Eulália Grill” The Snack-Bar has a splendid and comfortable terrace by the garden with ambience music. A wide range of drinks and light meals are available, such as salads and snacks. Summer Opening Time: 10h30am to 06h00pm. Winter is closed. Summer Snack service: 12h00 am to 05h00pm. Winter is closed. Emergency and Safety SAFETY PROCEDURES AND EMERGENCY The Santa Eulália Apartment Hotel & SPA features an internal emergency plan which sets out the guidelines to ensure that are identified and addressed potential foreseeable emergency situations and/or activities associated with it. These guidelines to ensure the active and passive measures against fire risk are defined, and established into a plan for the entire area of Santa Eulália Apartment Hotel & Spa. Both in the organization of the evacuation procedures as through optimization of human and material resources. The Plan is reviewed and updated annually, exercised whenever major changes are made on the premises or following the recommendations of official entities. We recommend reading the safety instructions affixed to the emergency plant located at the entrance of his apartment Suite – behind the entrance door. In case of doubt or assistance, please contact Reception. We would still, like you to devote a few minutes of your time into reading the following instructions: COME TO YOUR SUITE - Identify emergency exits closest to Your Suite (access to stairs). - Check the position of the alarm call points and fire extinguishers installed in the hallway giving access to the suites. - In order to more easily memorize the escape route, practice it by counting the steps and / or the time it takes to go. - Always observe the information and/or recommendation for "no smoking ". IN CASE OF FIRE - Stay calm. - Activate the nearest and / or contact Reception from any phone alarm. - Close doors to prevent the spread of fire. - Do not try to fight / extinguish. - Exit the building quickly by the nearest emergency exit. - Being clear ladder, never step back. - In the presence of smoke, stay as close as possible to the ground. - Do not try to carry any baggage with you, your life is far more important. - Use the emergency stairs, always down against the wall. - Do not turn back. - Do not use the elevators.
Emergency and Safety - cont. IF YOU ARE CLOSED IN YOUR SUITE - If you cannot get out of your suite safe, don`t. - Stay calm. - Keep the door closed to prevent the spread of fire to the interior - where you are. - Contact Hotel Reception, by dialling 9 and stating clearly the number of the suite which you are hosted and the number of people inside. - Unplug the AC immediately. - Fill the tub and sink with water. - Use wet towels to cover the joints of doors and louvers. - Go moistened towels frequently. - Remove the curtained windows. - Moisten the entire floor of the foyer. - Wait for Emergency Aid Hotel Team. ALARM EVACUATION If the evacuation alarm ringing continuously, follow these instructions: - Stay calm. - Take your key with you. - Using the back of your hand, check the temperature of the door before opening it. - If the hallway is clear of smoke, you can quit. - Do not try to carry any baggage with you, your life is far more important. - Abandon Your Suite and make sure you shut the door. - If you are unobstructed smoke, use the stairs nearest emergency, always down against the wall. - Do not turn back. - Do not use the elevators. - Follow the instructions provided by the Emergency Team for the hotel Evacuation. - Staff Team and Emergency Evacuation Hotel team will refer you to a meeting where all guests & staff shall be identified and /or done the verification of absence. LOCKED OUT - If the security conditions to leave your room are not satisfactory or the stairs to meet the emergency exit blocked, return to your room and proceed as described in "If you stay locked in your suite." MORE SAFETY - Do not smoke in bed. - Do not forget the burning cigarette in the ashtray. - Turn off electrical appliances from outlets if you are not using them. - You are not allowed any weapons. But if are owning and carrying, must inform the front desk of the hotel, which will keep them in custody until you leave.

Environmental Policy ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY At Conforhoteis we are committed to protecting the environment and to reducing the impact of the resort’s daily operation on the environment. Conscious of the impact that the tourist activity has on our natural resources and climate, we will strive to manage our waste in an efficient manner, avoid pollution, install energy saving devices whenever possible and encourage our guests to respect and contribute towards our efforts so that together, we may minimize our impact on the environment. Our main goals towards environment management are: Certification In order to comply with the broadest sustainability criteria, including our social and economic impact and employee welfare, SGS and HACCP excellency padrones will be accomplished until 2018. Electric Energy Provision and Management The electricity consumption at Santa Eulália SuiteHotel & Spa is 0.40 kilowatt per client and per day. Operationally, Santa Eulália Suite Hotel & Spa agrees to: - Ensure that all equipment purchased is classified as energy efficiency class A. - Ensure that all employees are properly trained in energy saving. Energy Saving Initiatives Santa Eulália Suite Hotel & Spa will ensure optimum energy efficiency by undertaking the following: - Use LED lights in all public areas. - Use LED or low energy consumption light bulbs on apartments and service areas. - All apartments are equipped with energy saving control units. Water Management Santa Eulália Suite Hotel & Spa will install water saving devices so as to reduce the water consumption but without compromising the client’s comfort. Water Saving Initiatives All apartments will have water flow reducers installed on all taps and shower heads. All cisterns will be manipulated in order to fill only half the amount of water permitted in the tanks. All cisterns have the double discharge button. Hot Water Supply The hot water supplied to the apartments and interior poo is produced from: - Solar Panels. - Electrical Heating.
Waste Management Santa Eulália Suite Hotel & Spa minimizes the production of solid waste in all areas of the resort and encourages guests to join our recycling programme. Specifically: - Recycling all glass, paper, card board, batteries, oils, plastic and electronic devices. - Minimizing the use of paper. Chemical Usage Whenever possible, Santa Eulália Suite Hotel & Spa will avoid using chemicals considered harmful to the environment and which are identified as such by the Food and Agriculture Organization. PROTECTION OF MINORS Santa Eulália Suite Hotel & Spa aims to ensure adequate protection to underage minors (any person under the age of 18) using all legal and judicial means at its disposal. Our company undertakes to inform the legal authorities of any actions considered suspicious and therefore adopting the necessary measures to identify those responsible.
