2017-2018 TOP CLUB HIGHLIGHTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS Cheerleading ● Advanced to semi-finals in UCA Nationals (Orlando, FL) Equestrian ● 1st place finishers at ISHA Horse Show at West Chester University, Bucks County Community College, Rider University, and Arcadia. ● Sent 3 riders to ISHA Regionals Men’s Lacrosse ● NCLL Fall Brawl Champions (College Park, MD) and Lax for Donnie Champions (Rowan University) ● Fall Record: 9-1 ● Spring Record: 10-5 Men’s Rugby ● Ranked as high as 29th nationally for D1-AA ● Advanced to D1-AA Sweet 16’s at Nationals in Cincinnati, OH ● 9 players were selected to the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference (MARC) All-Star Team Women’s Rugby ● Ranked in the top 32 nationally in the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference (MARC) DI ● Qualified for Division 2 Nationals in Cincinnati, OH 7

ARCHERY President: Nicholas Klein Vice-President: Samuel Stein Treasurer: Alexander Withers The Rowan Archery Club is a co-ed sports team of multiple skill levels. Although you can join as a recreational member, the Archery Club does compete and has sent several members to regional and national competitions this past year. They currently shoot at Banger’s Sports Shop in Winslow, NJ. BALLROOM DANCE President: Krystal Bradley Vice-President: Shannon Storms Treasurer: Amanda Rosa The Rowan University Ballroom Club aims to teach the dance styles and also the beauty of the performing arts. They teach various styles of Ballroom, Rhythm, and Latin dancing. The club is student run and also taught by a student from here at Rowan. Sometimes they have guest teachers as well! The club is both competitive and recreational. Prior experience is not needed to join the club, and they welcome students of all levels. CHEERLEADING Presidents: Adelyn Simone Vice-President: Samantha Burke Treasurer: Caitlyn Marks The Rowan University Cheerleading team was formed and exists to support the University's Athletic teams and to represent the University in a positive way in all team activities. Rowan University Cheerleading will encourage each member to reach her fullest potential as a cheerleader, a Rowan University student, and a member of the Glassboro community. COLOR GUARD President: Leah Quick Vice-President: Alexander Keating Treasurer: Matthew Ortiz The “Nowar” Color Guard Club was founded in 2017. The purpose of Color Guard is to provide students with the opportunity to express themselves through music, dance and with equipment to enlighten Rowan University and the local community about a different way to channel creativity. Although they are currently recreational, the club plans to compete in the 2018- 2019 academic year. 14
CYCLING President: Quinn McHugh Vice-President: James Craig Treasurer: Marcus Penate The Rowan Cycling Club unites students who possess a passion for pedaling and use bicycles as a form of fitness, recreation, or transportation. The club strives to create a stronger bicycle community at Rowan University through group rides and other events. 15
DANCE TEAM President: Kelly Connors Vice-President: Shannon Cahill Treasurer: Sarah Unger Rowan University Dance Team performs at each of the home football games and dances at community events such as RoGlow and Boro in Lights. The team also competes at the Evolve Dance Competition and was involved in eight community service events this past academic year! FENCING President: Stephen Dispasquale Treasurer: Henry Hill The Rowan Fencing Club meets twice a week and trains members on the etiquette, techniques & strategies of fencing. Currently the club is recreational, however, their eventual goal is to compete against other schools at the club level. 18

FISHING The Rowan Fishing Club is open to those students who simply enjoy the sport of fishing! Rowan students will all ranges of skill level in Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and other forms of martial arts come together and learn techniques used in MMA. The club specializes in 11/17-19 Backpacking Trip Harriman State Park Camping, Hiking, Backpacking, Mountaineering, 12/2 Day Hike Wharton State Forest Kayaking, and White Water Rafting. PAINTBALL President: Joel Gupta Vice-President: Hunter Cundiff Treasurer: Christopher Lacey The Paintball club participates in tournament paintball in the Northeastern Conference of the National Collegiate Paintball Association. They have two local fields for recreational play. The club is open to all those interested in playing paintball, whether you are a first timer or an experienced player. RACQUETBALL President: Evan Fry & Rikki Guo Treasurer: Bianca Torres The Rowan Racquetball Club is a growing sport club within Rowan University. It allows members of Rowan University to learn the sport and hone their skills in the sport, all the while meeting new people. The Club is a part of the Eastern Collegiate Racquetball Conference (ECRC). The ECRC allows us to compete at numerous regular season tournaments throughout various areas in the Northeast. Depending on qualification, members can attend the Intercollegiate Racquetball National Championships held each year in March. The club allows members to not only to compete and represent Rowan University, but also allows them to meet and network with numerous other college students and coaches, establishing relationships that last outside the court. ROCK CLIMBING President: Julia Rontanini Rowan University Rock Climbing Club introduces newcomers to rock climbing by teaching basic technique, belay instruction, and the different forms of climbing. The club serves as an established network between those whose lives are tied to skateboarding in various ways. Photography and filming of skateboarding are examples of extraneous art forms that are welcomed by this club.
