counts 441 drivers . . .

The entry list of the 2018 edition of the Rok Cup International Final
counts 441 drivers, coming from 54 Countries and 5 Continents.
These Rokkers will face each other from next Wednesday at the
South Garda Karting track to aim at the final success, but
especially, to experience the pure Adrenaline and Action! Letʼs
discover, category by category, which could be the protagonists,
being known that some Rokkers not mentioned, will come into the
limelight.

MINI. IN 152 TO GAIN THE ZILISCHʼ SCEPTRE?
Without the current champion, the American Connor Zilisch, the chase
for the Mini Rok International Title is the aim of many promising Rokkers
and the name of Andrea Kimi Antonelli stands out among these. The
Italian driver already won the Winter Cup in the Mini Rok class and he
will now race against some of the most fearful opponents: the Rok Cup

Italy champion Lukas Malek (Slovakia), Markos Flack (Australia), Karol
Pasiewicz (Poland), Coskun Irfan (UK) and Weywadt Jonathan
(Denmark).
During the whole season, also the other Italian drivers Cristian Bertuca,
Jacopo Cimenes and Flavio Olivieri had good performances; they
actually know the South Garda Karting very well and have been racing
for a long time in the Mini Rok.
But the long list of possible protagonists does not end here and we have
to remember the Jamaican Alex Powell, who has raced in Europe this
season and gained knowledge of tracks, opponents and the whole
circus.
Over the years, South Africa taught us not to underestimate its drivers
and, for this reason, we must take into the right consideration the Under
10 champion, Nikolas Roos and the Mini Rok national champion, Josh
Le Roux.
Among the drivers who have a great potential but still did not manage to
gain the success they hoped for we find Rashid Al Dhaheri (United Arab
Emirates) and the Czech Igor Cepil, both motivated and, as mentioned,
with their papers in order for the winning shot.
We now close the roundup of the possible protagonists mentioning the
American Rokkers. These drivers raced a very selective season in the
USA and now they come to Europe with great ambitions. The group of
the American drivers is captained by the Florida Winter Tour champion,
James Egozi and by his deputy, Kai Sorensen.
Among over 150 Mini Rokkers, certainly many names will stand out, so
we will be pleased to turn the spotlight on them during the Rok Cup
International Final week.

JUNIOR ROK. CHALLENGE AMERICA-EUROPE AND…
As well as in the Mini Rok, the current champion Luca Bosco will not be
racing in the Junior Rok class, as he will be ready to fight for the Super
Rok Title. However, the cadet class can boast many Rokkers with an
International Title, such as the winners of the Rok Final in the Mini Rok,
Connor Zilisch (USA) and Federico Cecchi (ITA), champions in 2017
and 2016, respectively.
A big source of talented drivers is the South America, Brazil in
particular, where the Florida Winter Tour 2018 champion comes from,
Matheus Alvarenga Morgatto. Other two drivers following in their
fathersʼ footsteps in the Rok Final are coming from Brazil, Fernando
Barrichello and Emmo Fittipaldi. Both will be accompanied by their
fathers, Emerson and Rubens and both of them are willing to show off,
especially Fernando Barrichello who has gained the right experience in
the Junior class to aim at the top positions.
Other two promising drivers are coming from South America, Colombia
precisely; they are Diego Contecha and David Cardenas, while the
Peruvian Daniella Ore is an outsider who already gained the
Panamerican Rok Title.
Ugo Ugochukwu coming from the United States is a very young and
talented driver who raced, like Morgatto, both in the USA and in Europe,
showing excellent qualities.
Among the Europeans, being able to keep in check the wild group of
drivers coming from North and South America, we find Paolo Ferrari,
Italian Champion and Rok Italia Champion. Ferrari and Marc Elter
(Germany), Nations Cup champion, start among the favorites.
The drivers Vyacheslav Putyatin (Ukraine), Enzo Peugeot (France),
Diego Stifter (Spain), Gabriel Lukasiewicz (Poland) and the Italians
Valentino Baracco, Filippo Croccolino, Raffaele Gulizia, David Locatelli

and Valerio Marzi have to be kept under control.

SENIOR ROK.HAJEK FROM ROK TO THE WORLD TITLE
From the victory in this category, which in 2017 was called Rok, the
career of the current KZ World Champion Patrik Hajek started. Scrolling
the wall of fame, the name of Patrik stands out in the first position in the
2006 edition of the Rok Cup International Final and today he is in the
CIK-FIA wall of fame after the Title conquered in Genk (Belgium) driving
his Kosmic Kart-Vortex.
The Senior Rok counts Szymon Szyszko (Poland) as former
International champion and new winner of the Rok Cup Italy. A good
number of national champions, such as Pietro Delli Guanti, ACI-Rok
Italian Champion, the German champion Martin Mahler and the Polish
champion Adam Szydłowski joins the youngest of Szyszko brothers.
The Florida Winter Tour vice-champion Edoardo Barrichello comes from
Brazil, the eldest of Rubens, and mature to try to be the first Brazilian on
the roof of the Rok world.
In the Senior, a great many drivers are coming from Asia and among
these we are looking forward to seeing the performances of the drivers
coming from Rok China, Wang Enqi, Cao Muhua, Ren Juncheng and
Liang Yan.
Also Lady Rok is well represented by five ladies, Sara Markucic
(Slovenia), Emma Delattre (USA), Tanja Muller, Aneta Martinkova
(Czech Republic) and Giada Meneguz (Italy). No wonder that some of
these ladies will be probably standing at the top pf the finals on
Saturday.

SUPER ROK. DʼABRAMO AND BOSCO FOR THE ENCORE
Mattia DʼAbramo (Italy) will try to give an encore of the Title conquered
last year. The current champion will find on his way the young Luca
Bosco (Italy), winner of the Junior Rok and willing to gain two Rok
International Titles in two different categories. Such goal was reached
only by Danilo Albanese, able to conquer the Rok International Title,
both in the Super and in the Shifter.
Also the South African champion Dino Stermin and the Rok Cup Italy
winner, the Polish Kacper Szczurek will go down to the track, both
boasting the right qualities to look for the winning shot.
In the Rok Senior final of 2017, Domenico Cicognini, after missing the
success, by a hairʼs breadth, comes back to the Super Rok after a great
season. In the wake of excellent results during the season, we will find
also Gaia Cardinali (Monaco), Alex Machado (Andorra) and Christian
Comanducci (Italy).
The most performant category of the Rok family (excluding Shifter) will
entertain us and, holding fast to its tradition, will elect a champion
worthy of its rank.

SHIFTER ROK. BARRICHELLO AMONG THE TOP OF THE ROK
All eyes, at the beginning at least, will be focused on an exceptional
Rokker, Rubens Barrichello. The former F1 top driver (Ferrari, Williams,
Jordan, Stewart, Honda and Brown) will be racing his third Rok
International Final, already showing his qualities and proved to do his
best in the past editions.
Among the other Rokkers, Federico Squaranti is the one whom
forecasts are favorable for, after gaining the third and second positions
in the last two editions, the former Rok Talent is ready to conquer the
International title. Federico has recently won the Rok Cup Italy for the
second year in succession and this is another reason why he could be

the Rokker to be beaten.
The Rok Final will be the stage of the seasonal début of one of the most
titled drivers of Rok Cup, Riccardo Cinti, who boasts three victories in
the Rok Cup International Final and four Rok Cup Italy. Cinti won in the
Super Rok and now the new challenge in the shifter class represents a
big incentive where he can show all his experience and speed.
Also Cristopher Zani, before becoming an expert with the gearbox,
gained two Rok International Final and one Rok Cup Italy in the Super
category.
There are always well-trained drivers coming from Japan and this year
too we will have three important drivers in the Shifter: the category
champion Kenta Mizukoshi, Hirotada Kobayashi and Kenta Mizukoshi.
Among the Countries bringing high-level drivers on average, we find
Switzerland. The Swiss group is made up of Michael Müller, Gabrio
Bizzozero, Samuel Weibel, Samuel Luyet and Ivan Rechsteiner.
Also the nation champion, the German Konstantin Kapetanidis will take
part in the event and the Lady group is well composed of Fabien Lanz
(South Africa), Chiara Zorzi (Italy), Lena Heun (Germany) and Mariana
Ramirez (Mexico).
Also Italians will be particularly fierce drivers in this category and,
besides the already mentioned Squaranti, Cinti and Zani, also Andrea
Zemin, Alessandro Buran and Gabriele Bensi have their papers in order
to cut a fine figure.

EXPERT AND EXPERT PLUS. LOOKING FORWARD THE FIRST
CHAMPIONS
The two Expert categories are making their absolute début this year and
do not have designated champions. Also in this case, drivers are
coming from all over the world and certainly none of them will leave the
track without making their best. So, let's wait for very tight races that will
give us the first two Expert champions!

conta ben 441 piloti, provenienti da 54 nazione e 5 continenti.
Questi Rokker si scateneranno da mercoledì prossimo alla South
Garda Karting per puntare dritti verso il successo finale ma,
soprattutto per vivere unʼesperienza di Adrenalina e Azione allo
stato puro! Scopriamo, categoria per categoria, quali potrebbero
essere i protagonisti, ben sapendo che qualche Rokker che non
abbiamo citato, salirà alla ribalta.

MINI. IN 152 PER RACCOGLIERE LO SCETTRO DI ZILISCH?
Senza il campione in carica, lo statunitense Connor Zilisch, la caccia al

titolo internazionale della Mini Rok è nel mirino di molti promettenti
Rokker e tra questi spicca il nome di Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Lʼitaliano ha
già vinto la Winter Cup nella Mini Rok ed avrà tra i suoi più temibili
avversari il campione Rok Cup Italia Lukas Malek (Slovacchia), Markos
Flack (Australia), Karol Pasiewicz (Polonia), Coskun Irfan (Regno Unito)
e Weywadt Jonathan (Danimarca).
Durante tutta la stagione si sono ben comportati anche gli altri italiani
Cristian Bertuca, Jacopo Cimenes e Flavio Olivieri, piloti che conoscono
molto bene la South Garda e che corrono da tempo nella Mini Rok.
Ma la lunga lista dei possibili protagonisti non termina qui ed è doveroso
ricordare il giamaicano Alex Powell, che in questa stagione ha corso in
Europa ed ha acquisito la conoscenza delle piste, degli avversari e di
tutto il circus.
Il Sudafrica, nel corso degli anni ci ha insegnato a non sottovalutare i
suoi piloti e, per questo motivo, dobbiamo tenere in giusta
considerazione il campione Under 10, Nikolas Roos ed il campione
nazionale della Mini Rok, Josh Le Roux.
Tra quei piloti che posseggono un grande potenziale e non hanno
raccolto quanto desideravano ci sono Rashid Al Dhaheri (Emirati Arabi
Uniti) ed il ceco Igor Cepil, entrambi motivati e, come detto, con le carte
in regola per piazzare il colpo vincente.
Concludiamo la carrellata dei possibili protagonisti ricordando i Rokker
statunitensi. Questi piloti hanno corso una stagione molto selettiva negli
USA ed ora arrivano in Europa con molte ambizioni. La pattuglia dei
drivers a stelle e strisce è capitanata dal campione del Florida Winter
Tour, James Egozi e dal suo vice, Kai Sorensen.
Tra gli oltre 150 Mini Rokker al via, certamente ci saranno nomi che si
metteranno in luce, sorprendendo molti addetti ai lavori, pertanto
saremo lieti di accendere i riflettori su di loro nel corso della settimana
della Rok Cup International Final.

JUNIOR ROK. SCONTRO AMERICA-EUROPA E….
Anche la Junior Rok, così come la Mini, non avrà al via il campione in
carica, Luca Bosco, poiché questi è pronto a dare lʼassalto al titolo della
Super Rok. Comunque nella classe cadetta non mancano i Rokker che
hanno allʼattivo un titolo internazionale e questi sono i vincitori della Rok
Final nella Mini Rok, Connor Zilisch (USA) e Federico Cecchi (ITA),
rispettivamente, campioni nel 2017 e 2016.
A fornire campioncini di rango è il Sudamerica, in modo particolare il
Brasile, da dove viene il campione del Florida Winter Tour 2018,
Matheus Alvarenga Morgatto. Sempre dal brasile arrivano due
affezionati figli dʼarte della Rok Final, Fernando Barrichello ed Emmo
Fittipaldi. Entrambi avranno al seguito i rispettivi papà, Emerson e
Rubens, ed entrambi sono desiderosi di mettersi in mostra, in
particolare Fernando Barrichello ha maturato la giusta esperienza nella
Junior per puntare alle prime posizioni.
Colombiane sono altre due giovani promesse, si tratta di Diego
Contecha e David Cardenas. Mentre il peruviano Daniella Ore è un
outsider che ha già messo nel proprio palmares il titolo di campione
Panamericano Rok.
Dagli Stati Uniti arriva Ugo Ugochukwu, giovanissimo scalpitante che ha
corso, come Morgatto, sia negli USA che in Europa, facendo vedere
ottime doti.
Tra gli europei che potranno mettere un freno alla scatenata pattuglia
proveniente dal sud e nord America, cʼè Paolo Ferrari, Campione
Italiano e Campione Rok Italia. Ferrari e Marc Elter (Germania),
campione della Nations Cup, partono nel novero dei favoriti.

Tra i piloti che vanno tenuti sotto controllo ci sono Vyacheslav Putyatin
(Ucraina), Enzo Peugeot (Francia), Diego Stifter (Spagna), Gabriel
Lukasiewicz (Polonia) e gli italiani, Valentino Baracco, Filippo
Croccolino, Raffaele Gulizia, David Locatelli e Valerio Marzi.

SENIOR ROK. HAJEK DALLA ROK AL TITOLO MONDIALE
Dalla vittoria in questa categoria, che nel 2017 era denominata Rok, si è
avviata la carriera dellʼattuale Campione del Mondo KZ Patrik Hajek.
Scorrendo lʼalbo dʼoro il nome di Patrik spicca al primo posto
nellʼedizione del 2006 della Rok Cup international Final ed oggi è
nellʼalbo dʼoro CIK-FIA dopo lʼiride conquistata a Genk (Belgio) al
volante del Kosmic Kart-Vortex.
La Senior Rok annovera Szymon Szyszko (Polonia) quale ex campione
Internazionale e fresco vincitore della Rok Cup Italia. Al più giovane dei
fratelli Szyszko si affiancano un buon numero di campioni nazionali,
quali Pietro Delli Guanti, Campione Italiano ACI-Rok, il campione
tedesco Martin Mahler ed il campione polacco Adam Szydłowski.
Dal Brasile arriva il vice campione del Florida Winter Tour Edoardo
Barrichello, primogenito di Rubens, e maturo per tentare di essere il
primo brasiliano sul tetto del mondo Rok.
Nella Senior è ben nutrita la schiera di Rokker provenienti dallʼAsia e tra
questi cʼè attesa per vedere in azione i piloti provenienti dalla Rok Cina,
Wang Enqi, Cao Muhua, Ren Juncheng e Liang Yan.
Anche le quote rosa sono ben rappresentate con cinque Lady Rok in
pista, Sara Markucic (Slovenia), Emma Delattre (USA), Tanja Miller,
Aneta Martinkova (Repubblica Ceca) e Giada Meneguz (Italia). Non ci
sarà da meravigliarsi se sabato sera vedremo al vertice delle finali
alcune di queste lady

SUPER ROK. DʼABRAMO E BOSCO PER IL BIS
Mattia DʼAbramo (Italia) proverà a bissare il titolo conquistato lʼanno
scorso. Il campione in carica troverà sulla sua strada, in primis, il
giovane Luca Bosco (Italia), vincitore della Rok Junior, e voglioso di
compiere lʼimpresa di vincere due titoli internazionali Rok in due
differenti categorie. Tale traguardo è riuscita sino ad ora al solo Danilo
Albanese, capace di conquistare il titolo internazionale nella Rok, nella
Super e nella Shifter Rok.
In pista ci saranno anche il campione sudafricano della categoria Dino
Stermin ed il vincitore della Rok Cup Italia, il polacco Kacper Szczurek,
entrambi in possesso delle qualità per cercare il colpo vincente.
Domenico Cicognini, dopo aver mancato il successo, per un soffio, nella
finalissima Rok Senior del 2017, torna nella Super avendo corso
unʼottima stagione. Sulla scia di ottimi risultati stagionali arrivano anche
la monegasca Gaia Cardinali, Alex Machado (Andorra) e Cristian
Comanducci (Italia).
La categoria più performante della famiglia Rok (escludendo la Shifter)
ci farà divertire e, fedele alla sua tradizione, eleggerà un campione
degno del suo rango.

SHIFTER ROK. BARRICHELLO TRA I TOP DELLA ROK
Tutti gli occhi, almeno allʼinizio, saranno puntati su di un Rokker
dʼeccezione, Rubens Barrichello. Lʼex top driver di F1 (Ferrari, Williams,
Jordan, Stewart, Honda e Brown) è alla sua terza Rok International
Final ed ha già fatto vedere nelle edizioni passate che non viene a fare
le ferie sulle rive del Garda, ma in pista dà il massimo, da campione
quale è.
Tra gli altri Rokker, Federico Squaranti è quello che parte con i favori

del pronostico, dopo essere giunto terzo e secondo nelle ultime due
 edizioni, lʼex Rok Talent vuole assolutamente il titolo internazionale.
 Federico ha recentemente vinto la Rok Cup Italia per il secondo anno
 consecutivo e anche questo fa pensare che il Rokker da battere sarà
 lui.
 La Rok Final vedrà il debutto stagionale di uno dei piloti più titolati della
 Rok Cup, Riccardo Cinti, il quale vanta tre Rok Cup International Final
 vinte e quattro Rok Cup Italia. Cinti ha vinto nella Super Rok ed ora la
 nuova sfida con il cambio rappresenta uno stimolo in cui riversare la sua
 esperienza e velocità.
 Anche Cristopher Zani, prima di diventare un specialista con il cambio
 ha messo in bacheca due Rok International Final e una Rok Italia nella
 Super.
 Dal Giappone arrivano sempre piloti ben preparati ed anche questʼanno
 avremo nella Shifter tre piloti di rilievo, il campione di categoria Kenta
 Mizukoshi, Hirotada Kobayashi e Kenta Mizukoshi.
 Tra le nazioni che mediamente avranno piloti di altissimo livello cʼè la
 Svizzera. Lo squadrone elvetico è composto da Michale Muller, Gabrio
 Bizzozero, Samuel Weibel, Samuel Luyet e Ivan Rechsteiner.
 Tra i campioni nazionali cʼè il tedesco Konstantin Kapetanidis e la
 pattuglia rosa è ben composta da Fabien Lanz (Sudafrica), Chiara Zorzi
 (Italia), Lena Heun (Germania) e Mariana Ramirez (Messico).
 Anche la squadra degli italiani sarà particolarmente agguerrita in questa
 categoria e, oltre ai già citati Squaranti, Cinti e Zani, possono fare una
 bella figura, Andrea Zemin, Alessandro Buran e Gabriele Bensi.

 EXPERT E EXPERT PLUS. IN ATTESA DEI PRIMI CAMPIONI
 Le due categorie della Expert sono al debutto assoluto e non hanno dei
 campioni designati. Anche in questo caso i piloti arrivano da tutto il
 mondo e, statene certi, nessuno di loro uscirà dalla pista senza aver
 dato il massimo. Così, attendiamoci gare tiratissime che ci
 consegneranno i primi due campioni Expert!
