regardless of your primary care clinic. However, some services may require prior authorization, such as certain Durable Medical
Equipment (DME), physical therapy/occupational therapy visits, manipulations or procedures. Please call (800) 605-4327, ask for
Member Services, then verify if prior authorization is needed before scheduling an appointment for care.
If your service requires prior authorization, your provider will submit a prior authorization
request to the GHC-SCW care management team. Most decisions occur within four to five
business days. Up to 15 days are allowed for review by the GHC-SCW care management
team and/or the GHC-SCW Chief Medical Officer.
