The District of Peachland will take ownership of the lands on March 30, 2021. The upper area of the property, which is accessed off Turner Avenue, is envisioned as a future parkland site and is approximately 6.2 acres in area. To help recoup purchase costs, the District plans to sell the lower portion of the property as a potential development site. A Park Plan, which will include public consultation, will determine future park uses and maintenance. Until planning is complete and funding secured, the park will remain undeveloped but will be available for casual use as of March 31, 2021. 4 Winter 2021 Peachland Recreation Guide
