Remote online notary provisions are set to expire on August 30, 2021. • Rhode Island extended through August 6, 2021. Eviction & Foreclosure Moratoriums • Delaware eviction and foreclosure moratoriums expired along with the state of emergency on July 13, 2021. • District of Columbia state of emergency extended through July 25, 2021. • Illinois eviction moratorium extended through August 1, 2021. • Maryland state of emergency ended on July 1, 2021, but the eviction moratorium remains in place during the 45 day grace period, until August 15, 2021. • Minnesota passed an "eviction off ramp" law. Although staggering evictions may take place as of July 14, for violating lease agreements, not including nonpayment of rent, all lease termination and evictions protections will remain in place until June 1, 2022. • Vermont eviction and foreclosure moratoriums expired on July 15, 2021.

FAIR HOUSING AND LANDLORD/TENANT ISSUES Mississippi Yes The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has released a statement on the Fair Housing Act and COVID-19 indicating that it will treat those who have the virus as a Missouri Yes protected class. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has also offered guidance relating to tenant protections during the COVID-19 emergency.
