It was well reported during his final year of school that he was approached by various NRL clubs, but he staved off their approaches to remain in Union, with GPS and the Reds Academy. Focusing on his career in the XV-a-side game in 2021, Aubrey is taking the chance to learn as much as he can from the GPS coaches, as well as the Reds Academy coaches – former Reds and Wallabies winger Paul Carozza and former Australian Sevens coach Dale Robinson. “Colts 1 coach Sio Kite and Torko (Lewis Torkington) have both really been helping me with my game,” he said. 14
