SPECIAL AWARDS Beyond the Barriers is providing a prize package to the value of $150 for any thoroughbred that wins a class. (TB must be registered in the studbook but not necessarily been in training or raced). Cashel Light Mask Raffle $5 per ticket or 5 Tickets for $20 The Cashel Light Mask is a rechargeable headpiece that provides the horse with biologically effective levels of blue light to: ● maximise health ● enhance coat condition ● promote muscle development ● positively influence mood, behaviour and overall well-being.
FEES FEI Classes 1, 2 and 3 –FEI EADCMP Fee $30 Admin fee $10 per horse -Compulsory non-refundable Facility fee $25 – Compulsory, NON refundable after entries close. Yards $30 per yard – Yards are limited. See conditions below. Equestrian Entries online fee $3.25 per entry, non-refundable. Equine Casual Registration - $5 (Class 5, 6 and 7 Only if horses are not ESNZ registered) Equine Flexi Start -105 Only (Class 5 only) Rider Casual Membership -$15 (Class 7 Only if rider does not hold ESNZ membership) LATE ENTRIES $30 per entry Fees payable at time of entry by POLi pay OR via Credit card with PayPal, 3.8% transaction charge will be automatically charged when paying by PayPal. Prize Money: Committee reserves the right to substitute prize money with goods to the value of, at their discretion. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. The organising committee reserves its rights, as laid out in the wording of ESNZ Article 611 2. All classes will be run under all applicable FEI Rules and Regulations or ESNZ Eventing Rules effective 1 August 2020. Version 6.0 3. Excessive entries and balloting as laid out in the wording of ESNZ Article 645 4. All horses in class 1 are required to have an FEI passport/recognition card. All horses in classes 2-3 are required to have either an FEI passport/recognition card (purple) or Official ESNZ Identification book (orange) – FEI Article 137 5. COMPETITORS - Memberships and Registration conditions ● Classes 1 - 3 riders and horses must be registered with the FEI before their entries can be accepted, See Article 500 2.4 ● Classes 1 - 4 = Horses and Riders must have full membership and full equine registration with ESNZ. ● Class 5 = Riders must have full membership with ESNZ. ● Class 5 = Horses not registered with ESNZ can pay a $5 Casual Equine Registration fee, AND Horses with no Discipline Start fee can pay a Flexi Start of $15. ● Class 6 = Riders must have Full OR Introductory Membership with ESNZ ● Class 7 = Riders that are not members of ESNZ can pay a $15 Casual Membership fee. ● Class 6 and 7 = Horses not registered with ESNZ can pay a $5 Casual Equine Registration fee. 6. Arrival inspections - Horses in FEI CCI-L classes 1, 2, and 3 must be presented for one of the two arrival inspections. Times for this will be available in your acceptance letter. 7. Yarding - Limited yards. Excess may be yarded off site if demand is not great enough for portable yards. Priority given to entry level and multiple horses. Auckland riders may be asked to go home if we are short of yards. 8. Payment to be made by internet banking or PayPal at time of entry. Bank Account for Internet Banking 010170 0141658 00 9. Late payments -Unpaid entries will not be accepted, all entries active or not are subject to paying the compulsory fees once entered. Unpaid/unaccepted entries will incur late fees of $30 if entry is accepted after the close of entries. 10.1 Scratchings/Refunds/Prize Money. -All scratchings are to be done through Equestrian Entries. Scratching must be notified immediately, as laid out in the wording of ESNZ Article 646. REFUNDS: Riders in FEI classes 1, 2 and 3 scratching from the event 48 hours before start of competition (before 8.00am Thursday 25th March 2021) will be entitled to a 50% refund of entry fees on presentation of a veterinary or medical certificate. FEI EADCMP fee will be refunded if the horse does not present for arrival inspection. Riders in national classes 4, 5, 6 and 7 scratching from the
event 48 hours before start of competition (before 8.00am Thursday 25th March 2021) will be entitled to an 80% refund of entry fees on presentation of a veterinary or medical certificate. Requests for refunds including vet and medical certificates need to be emailed to the secretary before 31 March 2021 to qualify for a refund. No refunds of $10 or less will be paid. Refunds will be processed between the completion of the event and 1st May 2021. All entry fees and prize money listed in this schedule includes GST. Additional prize money paid in accordance with ENZ rules. Prize Money: Paid out at ratio 1:5 starters for national classes and 1:4 for CCI classes. Committee reserves the right to substitute prize money with goods to the value of, at their discretion. 10.2 If, in the Organising Committee’s reasonable opinion, a change in the COVID-19 restrictions and/or alert level status in Auckland or NZ after close of entries and prior to the start of competition, causes event cancellation or amendment, a minimum of 50% of entry fees will be refunded. 11. Change of class, horses, or riders in classes 1-3 will not be accepted from Wednesday 24th March 2021. Any decisions other than that of the FEI to change after this date will result in the entry being scratched from the event. 12. Qualifications – For classes 1 - 3 see the ESNZ Eventing website/resources/eventing rules. 13. All yards are to be left clean and empty, any bedding that has been used is to be removed and placed in allocated muck piles. Riders will be fined $50 per yard if your allocated yards are left in an unacceptable condition. If you are leaving early and you would like your yard checked before you leave, please contact the stable manager before you depart. Please report any damaged yard to the stable manager throughout the event. 14. Tentative Timetable – Subject to change Friday 26th March PM Arrival inspection Classes 1-3 Saturday 27th March AM Arrival inspection continued Classes 1 - 3 Dressage & show jumping Sunday 28th Cross Country 15. This event is part of ESNZ Eventing National Series Competitions. 16. It is a condition of entry that riders provide the name and phone number of a helper to cross country jump judge or to provide assistance pre/during or post the event. You will be contacted with a job if you do not supply a helper.
