Proudly Presented by WELCOME FROM THE NSW GOVERNMENT On behalf of the NSW Government, welcome to the wonderful Snowy Mountains region for the Snowies MTB Fesval. This event is proudly supported by the NSW Government via its tourism and major events agency, Desnaon NSW. Tourism is the lifeblood of many regional NSW centres, and that’s why the NSW Government connues to support events throughout the State, driving record breaking visitaon – which means heads on beds in hotels and diners in local cafés and restaurants. Events such as this also help drive media exposure and reinforce the area’s reputaon as a must-visit desnaon for all sport lovers and holiday makers, alike. I encourage you to explore the exhilarang Snowy Mountains region and wish all competors and spectators an enjoyable me at this excing event. The Hon. Stuart Ayres MP Minister for Tourism
Proudly Presented by WELCOME FROM TEAM IN2ADVENTURE On behalf of team In2Adventure we would like to send out the biggest welcome to athletes, friends and families atending the Snowies MulSport Fesval. Over the past few weeks our thoughts have been with all of those impacted by the tragic fires that have taken so much from so many, including our very special friends in the Snowy Mountains. Thankfully due to the amazing work of the firies, Jindabyne, Lake Crackenback and Thredbo have not been directly impacted by fires, however the economic impact on the community and businesses in the region has been devastang. Understanding this, we made a commitment to the local community that where it is safe to do so, and where the impact of the event on the local community and athletes will be a posive one, that we would make every effort to ensure the events go ahead. Currently we are so pleased that the situaon has eased and the events are scheduled to happen because, as with many areas across the country, the Snowies region and the community need the support of visitors returning to the region to help them get back on their feet and back to some degree of normality and we know that the Snowies MulSport Fesval can contribute in a really posive way to this recovery. So we encourage all of our amazing In2Adventure family to do what you can to support the recovery effort. Why not indulge yourself while you’re in the region? Have one of the best days out you could imagine, and book a high country horse ride with Nev, our very own ‘Man from Snowy River’ at Thredbo Valley Horeseriding. Book a massage or physio with our friends at Synergy Massage and Elevate Physio. Why not extend your stay at Lake Crackenback Resort and Spa or Thredbo, or if you’re planning a funcon or wedding in the future consider the Snowy Mountains, it’s an amazing place all year round. If you need flowers for a special occasion, catch up with Chellie from CH Floral Designs for some beauful high country floral arrangements #BringAnEmptyEsky or box and fill it with the amazing produce and goods from local businesses such as Wild Brumby Disllery, Snowy Mountains Cookies, Jindabyne Sports and Sacred Ride. There’s so much we can all do to help, and It’s a ‘win win’ for everyone. We all get to enjoy an amazing holiday experience in one of Australia’s most iconic desnaons while supporng businesses and communies who have suffered through no fault of their own. The Snowy Mountains have made it clear, they are ready to welcome all of you with open arms to “Shake Hands with the Snowies” and we can’t wait to see you all there to support this amazing community and to enjoy some of the best mountain biking and trail running in Australia. All our love, Rob & Simon & the In2Adventure Team
