REC INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT: Life outside of the Rec: I live and work in Ephrata. I’m the store
KAITLIN O’HANLON manager at Mister Car Wash. I currently live with my
family and am house- hunting! I have been looking right here in town.
Pound, Cycle, Yoga It’s been a fun and challenging process so far. My
significant other is also from the area. He works at a local
brewery in Ephrata! We actually met through the wash and have been
together three years now. We were working together for a couple days
and decided to go out with some friends. Once we went out
one-on-one, we had so much fun together, the rest was history.

What's your favorite class to teach and why? Pound, it’s so fun to
see people get into their favorite songs. They start to learn the
different kinds of moves and even if they don’t know it they just keep
                                                 moving and making noise!

What exercise routines do you do outside of teaching
classes? I love weight lifting along with cardio. I think they’re both
important. I also learned you can do cardio with a barbell. Adding in
weights has helped take my fitness to a whole new level and keeps
                                                 things new and challenging.

Any fun hobbies or facts about you? If you ever take a class with
me, I will probably sing to you. I love music and singing so while it may
not be in key it keeps it fun! I love being active and trying new things. I
try and do jump rope routines, I have a weighted hula hoop and I
occasionally bike or roller blade. I like to keep movement fun and over-
                                                 all keep trying new things.

I love to push and challenge my participants in the water. The
