SUMMER 2021 weeks & Theme important deadlines Week 1 (June 14–18) – “Tropical Island” Land ho! Camp has somehow become stranded on a tropical island! Don’t worry though, DESCRIPTION DEADLINE we’ll be having so much fun, there’s no need to signal for an S.O.S.! Week 2 (June 21–25) – “Great Safari” Cancel EVERYTHING (with refunds Jump in your jeep; hang on for a wild ride! This week sends campers deep into when requested) a jungle filled with lions, tigers and…parrots? Get ready for a jungle full of fun! Week 3 (June 28– July 2) – “USA Week” Non-refundable fees: Application fee Get out your red, white, & blue and come celebrate America’s birthday with us! We’ll have ($45 per camper) and deposit ($20 awesome patriotic activities including a 4th of July parade around camp! USA! USA! Come enjoy the glitz, glamour and awe of the circus at Camp! Practice to be a trapeze artist on our ropes courses, an animal tamer at drama, or just sit back and watch with some popcorn! Week 8 (August 2–6) – “Wild, Wild West” Howdy partner! Grab your cowboy hat, saddle up and get ready to head out on a fantastic adventure through the great frontier. Week 9 (August 9–13) –“Lights, Camera, Action!” For one week, we’re turning Silver Spring into Hollywood! Grab your tuxedo or gown and get ready to walk the red carpet like a movie star! Week 10 (August 16–20) – “Outer Space” 3…2…1…blast off! Let’s travel around the Milky Way, past Jupiter, and through a black hole exploring the mysteries of outer space! Don’t forget your space suit! Week 11 (August 23–27) - “Wacky Tacky“ What better way to end the Summer than a week with additional Field Trips & wacky tacky fun! Campers will get the opportunity to enjoy half & full day trips in every program as well as participate in crazy sock day, backwards day & more! 6 7

You can sign up for any combination and any number of days. No matter which day(s) your child attends, you can be sure that they’ll receive the kind of high-quality program you’ve come to expect from Camp Sonshine. Eager for a full week of camp memories?
