FREE AT-HOME-COVID TESTS WITH TELEHEALTH PROCTOR The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is distributing 500,000 COVID-19 rapid an- tigen tests that include a telehealth visit for use within the next three months (through mid-February 2022). Eligible entities are encouraged to place a one-time order as soon as possible. Order the quantity of tests your organization anticipates needing over a three (3) month period. CLICK HERE TO ORDER. Orders will be processed and shipped beginning Monday, November 29. Interested child care facilities should only submit one response per organization. COLORADO SHINES Following are upcoming virtual, instructor-led training events recognized through the Colorado Shines Training Alignment Process (TAP). Courses with a fee are marked with ($). Infant Toddler Specialist Foundations Cohort 13 – A train-the-trainer opportunity beginning in January for those interested in becoming qual- ified to teach Expanding Quality in Infant Toddler Care (EQIT) in their local community. Applicants must have completed EQIT, hold or are in the active process of applying for a trainer credential, and have connected with their local early childhood council and/or EQIT team to make sure a new team member is needed. (free) CIRCLE OF SECURITY PARENTING CLASS At times all parents feel lost or without a clue about what our child might need from us. Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you. The Circle of Security® Parenting™ program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened. Using the COSP™ model developed by the Circle of Security originators, our trained Facilitators work with parents and care-givers to help them to: Understand their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs, Support their child’s abil- ity to successfully manage emotions, Enhance the development of their child’s self esteem, and Honor the innate wisdom and desire for their child to be secure Circle of Security is an 8 week program with space for up to 8 individuals, this is a free parenting class provided by early childhood mental health consultants, Annie Deutschmann, LCSW and Crystal Reeder through AllHealth Network and will be held virtually.
