Schramm - Home of Sleep Demonstrative luxury plays an insignificant role among Germans, whereas unobtrusive luxury which enhances one’s own well-being is particularly po- pular. The same applies to sleeping which the Schramm brand has been committed to for almost 100 years. Schramm Werkstätten is now in the third generation and is more successful than ever when it comes to sleep or, more precisely, beds. Schramm beds have now been ranked among the top 30 German luxury brands for the second time since 2016 and have anchored themselves in the midfield. Even though there is a lack of willingness to buy in the retail sector at present, and consumers are generally somewhat reluc- tant to buy, Schramm is optimistic. It is worth taking a closer look at this brand of beds from Rhineland-Palatina- te. Schramm is the brand which all respondents have expressed a positive opinion of even though the situation at the present time is not as rosy as we would like. But what lies behind this? What makes a successful luxury bed manufacturer? What vision is driving it? Is sound sleep a luxury? Sound sleep as a visible winner Already in the 18th century, the German philosopher Immanuel Kant knew that „three things help to counter the trials of life: Hope, sleep and laughter“. Schramm focuses on the topic of sleep. After all, sound sleep is a socially relevant topic that more and more people contend with. In today‘s hectic times, when consumers are driven by information overload and pressure to perform, sleep is the source of energy. In its company mission, Schramm describes sound sleep as the „cradle of a healthy life“. This is precisely what reflects its target group. Among all re- spondents, Schramm was ascribed positive associations such as „a strong brand name“, „excellent craftsmanship“ or „a rising philosophy“. The sustai- nable and conscious approach of Schramm proves this. Angela Schramm, Head of Marketing at Schramm, confirms: „We are a family business and attach great importance to a personal dialogue with our dea- lers, customers and employees“. „We are fortunate,“ continues the Marketing Manager, „that we have a product that is currently incredibly desirable in the market.“ This is confirmed by the responses of the experts interviewed and the centuries-old quotation from Immanuel Kant. kashkash is known for its intelligent modular designs and timeless pieces.
For us they have designed the PUREBEDS ELL bed. A classically modern bed with a full-length removable
fabric cover. The narrow piping edging emphasises the straight lines. PUREBEDS ELL is available with or
without extension tables that can be reordered at any time. The attachment discretely disappears under
the cover.

Das Designstudio kaschkasch wurde Ende 2011 von Florian Kallus (1983)
und Sebastian Schneider (1985) gegründet.
Das Duo arbeitet weltweit für einige der spannendsten nationalen und
internationalen Unternehmen des Möbel- und Lichtdesigns. kaschkasch
ist bekannt für seine intelligenten modularen Designs und zeitlosen Stücke.
Für uns haben die Beiden das Bett PUREBEDS ELL entworfen. Ein klas-
sisch modernes Bett mit einem komplett durchgehenden und abnehm-
baren Stoffbezug. Die umlaufende schmale Biese betont die gerade Li-
nienführung.
PUREBEDS ELL ist mit oder ohne Ansatztische lieferbar und Sie können
die Tische jederzeit nachbestellen. Die Befestigung verschwindet diskret
unter dem Bezug.
The design studio kaschkasch was established in the end of 2011 by
Florian Kallus (1983) ans Sebastian Schneider (1985).
The duo works wordwide for some of the most exciting national and
international companies of furniture and lighting design. kaschkasch is
well known for their smart modular designs and timeless pieces.
They have designed for us the bed PUREBEDS ELL. A classically mo-
dern bed with a completely continuous and removable fabric cover. The
surrounding narrow cording emphasizes the straight lines. PUREBEDS
ELL is available with or without extension tables and you can reorder
the tables at any time. The attachment disappears discretely under the
cover.

ORIGINS HEADBOARD FLAIR Design: Angela Schramm FLAIR is a headboard with classic pipe stitching. Elegant and radiant in our velvet Ella – burgundy. The individual pipes have a width of 13 cm and can be extended to the desired size by this width. It should be noted that this is nor- mally done symmetrically, increasing the overall width by 26 cm, 52 cm or 78 cm. FLAIR is also flexible in height which can be extended in increments of 10 cm. It should be noted that a wall mounting is required from an overall height of 150 cm. Incidentally, the classic pipe stitching was often used in the car uphol- stery for sports cars and is a well-known stylistic element of our upholstery.

With our new ingredient light and our app it will be much easier to fall asleep, to sleep well rested and to wake
up refreshed. The selected alarm time and your desired sounds make getting up easier. We tell you bedtime
stories so you can fall asleep relaxed and we‘ve also written down various tips for a good night‘s sleep. The
topic of good sleep is very varied and we have found suitable recipes that we would like to share with you.
The DNA of the app: The app ensures an optimal light experience in the bedroom at all times. Illustrative and
intuitive, it enables the user to experience and use different lighting scenarios. The demo app allows stand
visitors to experience that as well. A slider enables the sun to be drawn on its path over a subtly implied
horizon. Orientation is provided by a legend on the horizon. Two buttons allow the light to perform directly a
sunrise or sunset. At the same time as lighting the bed, the 3D bed on the iPad visualises the corresponding
lighting mood.
