Hump : a round raised area or part of a person's or an animal's back. Scales: small , flat and hard pieces that cover the skin of fish, snakes,….etc. Stripes : lines on the surface of something that have different colour.

Dear Laila,
My name is Susan. Iam 11 years old. Iam from Canada and during the winter months we
have lots of heavy snow and strong winds called blizzards. In winter, I usually play with my
friends after school. We decorate our playhouse with laminated paper and snowflakes. We
throw snowballs to create a circle in the snow. We make a snowman and decorate it with
lollipops and gum. We use sand buckets and cut-up empty milk cartons to make a cool
snow castle .Last year it snowed for a whole week without stopping which is quite normal
where I live. Our car was completely covered in snow and we had to use a shovel to make
a path through the snow out of our front door! We had no electricity for two days either
so we had to light candles in the evening so we could see.
