Pratham USA is a volunteer-driven association aimed at bringing about lasting change in India through
education reform. Pratham SF Bay Area is one of the organization’s 14 US chapters, with a membership
of more than 2,000 supporters who are dedicated to advancing Pratham’s mission of “every child in school
and learning well.”
ANNUAL GALA
The SF Bay Area chapter has expanded both in membership and funds raised to become the fastest
growing Pratham chapter in the country. Prior guests of honor include Hon. Ms. Kamala Harris, a current US
Senator, and Dr. Rukmini Banerji, a Rhodes Scholar and CEO of Pratham India. It is expected that with Mr.
Sundar Pichai, Google CEO, as the guest of honor, the 2018 Gala will be well attended.
