Commercial Burglaries: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 03/04/2021 24000 Telegraph Rd. Forced rear gate On 03/04/2021 at 5:48am Officers were dispatched to 5:48am (Commercial Sprinklers & by backing Truck the 24000 Block of Telegraph Rd. for a B&E Alarm. Marijuana Grow Business) through it. Officers arrived on scene and found the gate to the Kicked in the rear rear of the property was open. door to Business. Further investigation by Officers they discovered that the rear door to business had been kicked in. The owner of the property arrived on scene and advised that the sprinkler business was shared with a marijuana grow section. He also advised the business was broken into previously several months ago. Surveillance Video shows on 3/04/2021 5:41am suspect vehicle backs into driveway on north side of business. A unknown male exits driver’s side and checks gate. Unknown male reenters truck cab and rams gate with truck in reverse. At 5:43am the unknown male enters the rear of the building by force. The unknown male is wearing a stocking cap, face mask, eye glasses and green gloves. Once inside the unknown male is seen taking unknown items and loading them into a bag. The suspect then left the business. There were some identifiable markings on the Rental Truck that was used in this incident. It hasn’t been confirmed yet but It appears that the rental vehicle was most likely stolen.
03/04/2021 22000 Telegraph Rd. Door to the room Officers were dispatched to the 22000 Block of 11:33pm (Hotel) was unlocked. Telegraph Rd (Hotel) on a suspicious incident. A B/M wearing a black and red jacket broke into a resident’s room. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to the victim. There was also another subject (suspect) in the hotel lobby with the victim. Victim states he is an employee at the hotel and has a permanent room that he stays in. After getting off work he went to his room and discovered suspect in his room going through his belongings. The suspect stated he was supposed to meet a prostitute and this was the Room# that she gave him to meet her. When he got to the room it was unlocked so he went in. Since nobody was there he thought he may as well take some things. He returned the items that he had taken to victim and waited for police to arrive. Officers took the suspect into custody for B&E Hotel Room. Automobile Thefts: Date/Time Address (block range) Year, Make, Model Details Status 03/02/2021 16000 Cumberland Rd. RS – Recovered Stolen On 03/02/2021, Southfield Detectives were on 8:01am (Apartments) Manufacturer patrol in search of stolen vehicles in the 16000 CHEVROLET Model Block of Cumberland. (Apartment Complex) IMPALA Color Detectives came across a Silver 2019 Chevrolet Vehicle Year 2019 Impala with a Michigan License Plate which was Body Style State MI reported stolen out of Dearborn PD. Southfield Description Dispatch confirmed with Dearborn PD that the SILVER CHEVY IMPALA vehicle was reported stolen. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of recovery. The vehicle was recovered, impounded and a LEIN message was sent to Dearborn PD with recovery information. Status From: 03/01/2021 20000 Knob Woods Dr. S - Stolen Victim states she parked her 2018 White Dodge 10:00pm (Apartments) Manufacturer Durango at Apartment Complex in the 20000 DODGE To: 03/02/2021 Model Block of Knob Woods Dr. DURANGO 4:30pm Color Sometime between 03/01/2021 10:00pm- WHI - White Vehicle Year 03/02/2021 4:30pm someone stole her vehicle. 2018 Body Style Note: There were power tools and a mechanical SW - Station Wagon lift in the vehicle when it was stolen. State MI No suspect information. License Year 2020 Notes Contained a Mechanical Lift and a Set of Power Tools.
Status From: 03/02/2021 17000 W Nine Mile Rd. SR - Both Stolen and Victim states sometime on 03/02/2021 between 1:00pm (Commercial Office) Recovered 1:00pm- 1:50pm someone stole her 2007 Black Manufacturer To: 03/02/2021 CHEVROLET Chevy Trail Blazer. Model 1:50pm TRAILBLAZER The following day on 03/03/2021 Officers were Color BLK - Black dispatched to the 21000 Block of Northwestern Vehicle Year Hwy for a report of a suspicious vehicle. 2007 Body Style Officers arrived on scene and located victim’s SW - Station Wagon State vehicle parked in the parking lot of Office MI Building. License Year 2021 Security on scene advised the vehicle had been Recovered Date/Time 03/03/2021 9:30am left running in the parking lot since 03/02/2021 Location 21000 Block of at 2:30pm. No information on who was driving Northwestern Hwy the vehicle. There was fresh damage to the ignition. Status 03/03/2021 15000 Providence Dr. S - Stolen Victim states their 2004 Silver Chevy Suburban 1:19pm (Apartments) Manufacturer was parked in the parking lot in the 15000 Block CHEVROLET Model of Providence Dr. Sometime between SUBURBAN Color 03/02/2021 3:00pm- 03/03/2021 11:00am SIL - Silver or Aluminum someone stole the vehicle. Status From: 03/02/2021 16000 W Eleven Mile Rd. SR - Both Stolen and R/P (owner) of the vehicle states her nephew last 9:00pm (Apartments) Recovered had permission to drive the vehicle. The nephew Manufacturer To: 03/03/2021 BUICK states he last saw the vehicle on 03/02/2021 at Model 10:00am ENCLAVE 9:00pm. He discovered the vehicle missing the Color MAR - following morning at 10:00am. Maroon or Contact was later made with the nephew by Burgundy Vehicle Year Southfield Detectives. The nephew stated he 2011 Body Style State accidently left the keys in the vehicle. MI Recovered Date/Time 03/04/2021 2:01pm Location Greenfield/Grove Status From: 03/05/2021 16000 Harden Cir S - Stolen Victim states he parked his 2018 Gray, Dodge 5:28am Manufacturer DODGE Charger Scat Pack in his driveway on Harden To: 03/05/2021 Model Circle on 3/4/2021 at approx. 5:00pm. CHARGER 5:30am Color The following morning at approx. 9:00am victim GRY - Gray Vehicle Year discovered that someone had stolen his vehicle. 2018 Body Style State No suspect information. Status 03/07/2021 23000 Lawn Rd. S - Stolen Victim states she parked her 2020 Gray Dodge 9:43am (Apartments) Manufacturer Charger Scat Pack in the parking lot of her Dodge Model Apartment Complex in the 23000 Block of Lawn Charger Scat Pack Color Rd. (Apartment Complex) GRY - Gray Vehicle Year The vehicle was stolen on 03/07/2021 between 2020 Body Style 1:00am- 9:45am. No suspect information. 4D - 4 Door Note: The vehicle was equipped with a tracking State MI device and when Detectives attempted to locate Description 2020 Gray Dodge the vehicle it was pinging near the 24000 Block of Charger Scat Pack Schoolcraft Rd. in Detroit. DPD was requested to check the area. Later in the day, DPD Officer spotted the vehicle in the area. As he was attempting to pull the vehicle over, the vehicle dropped a B/F off and fled the area at a high rate of speed. There was a black male driving the vehicle and a black male in the rear passenger seat. The female was sitting in the front passenger seat before she was dropped off. The vehicle was not located after this. When Officers returned to the area the B/F was gone.
Status 03/07/2021 22000 Telegraph Rd. SR - Both Stolen and R/P, Representative from Rental Business states 9:01am (Commercial- Rental) Recovered one of their vehicles was taken over-night. Manufacturer Ford Surveillance video shows an unknown male Color WHI - White wearing a black shirt, black pants, black hat, black Vehicle Year 2008 gloves and black face mask, is first visible on Body Style State surveillance video at approx. 6:13am. AZ Description The suspect can be seen using a pry bar to break White/Orange Rental Truck into the lock box where the vehicle's keys were Recovered Date/Time located. The suspect takes the keys and can be 03/08/2021 3:30pm Location seen driving the vehicle away at approx. 6:15am. 19000 Block of Grandview St. Detroit The vehicle was recovered in the 19000 Block of Grandview St. in Detroit. No arrests were made. Status 03/07/2021 26000 W Twelve Mile Rd S - Stolen Victim states he last saw his vehicle on 1:27am (Apartments) Manufacturer 03/07/2021 around 12:30am. He discovered it DODGE Model missing the same morning at 1:30am. CHARGER Scat Pack Color Victim parked his vehicle under his assigned car Orange Vehicle Year port at his Apartment Complex. There was no 2019 Description broken glass located where the vehicle was Orange 2019 Dodge parked. No suspect information. Charger Scat Pack Notes Black and silver rims, black spoiler, hood scoop, dark tinted windows all around, including windshield.
Status From: 03/03/2021 24000 Southfield Rd. S -Stolen Victim states he parked his 2004 Ford Econoline 12:00pm (Multi Office Building) Manufacturer Van in the 24000 Block of Southfield Rd. Victim FORD To: 03/07/2021 Model has been parking his van on the n/w corner of ECONOLINE 2:00pm Color this lot for months with permission from the WHI - White Vehicle Year business owner. Sometime between 03/03/2021 2004 Body Style State 12:00pm- 03/07/2021 2:00pm someone stole the MI vehicle. There were several work tools in the vehicle when it was taken. No suspect information. Tips: ❖ Never leave your vehicle running unattended ❖ Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible ❖ Use commercially available security devices

R/P advised YGE624 To: 03/02/2021 Hospital & Preschool) Description that several vehicles were broken into. Bills, Black Series 6 available at time of report. Apple Watch were Taken From 2016 Dodge Challenger. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician Status processed all the attacked vehicles. S - Stolen Note: Most of the incidents occurred between Cash was Taken From 2016 Chrysler 300. 6:15am- 3:30pm. All the vehicles had a window broken out. The suspects and suspect vehicle in these incidents may be the same as the ones that occurred in the 21000 Block of Ten Mile Rd. A Silver/Grey 2003 Chevy Avalanche with Ohio plate & 2- B/M’s wearing green construction vests were responsible for that incident. See incident below for more details.
Status 03/02/2021 21000 W Ten Mile Rd. S - Stolen Victim states she arrived on the School Campus 1:50pm (College Campus) Description at 10:00am. She parked her 2018 Chevy Impala Black Columbia Jacket-Fur on Hood, Cash, Several Credit and then later returned to her vehicle at 4:00pm. Cards, Social Security Card, 2 Mi When she returned she noticed that her vehicle Id's, Birth Certificate, Gold/Aqua Michael Kors Watch, Black had been broken into. The rear driver’s side Michael Kors Purse (Logo Print), window was broken out and numerous items Black/Grey Louis Vutton Wallet were Taken from Victims 2018 were missing from her vehicle. Chevy Impala. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician processed the vehicle for latent prints. Note: Southfield Detectives met with School Security and viewed their security footage of the incident. It appears that a Silver/Grey 2003 Chevy Avalanche with Ohio plate was the suspect vehicle. There were two unknown occupants and they parked next to the victim’s vehicle. The driver exited, smashed out the driver’s side window to gain access to victim’s vehicle. The suspects then exited the parking lot onto the service drive. The suspects were 2- B/M’s, both wearing Green Construction Vests. See Photos of suspect vehicle below:
Status From: 03/02/2021 19000 Melrose Ave S - Stolen Victim states he lives at residence with his 12:00pm Description 4- Surveillance Cameras Were roommate. The roommate and him, have a To: 03/03/2021 Taken. mutual friend who is the suspect. 12:00pm Suspect often comes over the house to hang out, but he doesn’t reside at the residence. On 03/02/2021, R/P was cleaning up the living room when he discovered that a surveillance system with 8 cameras that he had just bought was missing all the camera’s. Victim questioned the suspect about taking the camera’s. The suspect made admissions that he took the camera’s. He stated he would return the cameras, plus throw in something extra as an apology. Suspect returned only four of the cameras. Victim has had no further contact with the suspect. Suspect has been identified and Investigation is on-going. Tips: ❖ Ensure your vehicle is locked always and valuables are out of sight. ❖ Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly ❖ Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked

Be on the Look Out Highlights: Arrests by SPD Officers: Special Attention: MDOP OWI= Operate While Impaired 03/01/2021 8:53am OUIN= Operate Under Influence Narcotics 27000 Block of Northwestern Hwy LFA= Larceny from Auto (Corporate Office Building) R&C= Receiving & Concealing Stolen Property R/P states on 2-28-2021 at 5:37am a W/M wearing a DWLS= Driving with Suspended License dark colored facial mask, was observed via CCTV A&B= Assault & Battery footage on the property grounds. The suspect was of CSC= Criminal Sexual Conduct average height and weight wearing dark clothing. CCW/CPL= Carrying Concealed Weapon Suspect spray painted both entrance signs. NOLOP= No Operator License on Person The entrance off Northwestern was painted on one R/A= Robbery Armed side that says, " SK SAYS HI. " On the other side it RNA= Robbery Not Armed was spray painted, " TRAINS 4 DETROIT. " PWID= Possession with Intent to Deliver The second sign located at the East main entrance PPO= Personal Protection Order was only damaged on one side. It stated, " RAPID PBT= Preliminary Breath Test TRANS 4 DETROIT. " No further information, R/P= Reporting Party unknown what the motive is? VCSA= Violation Controlled Substance Act
Special Attention: CCW/ Obstruct Police- 1- Arrest MDOP/Threats/ Domestic 03/04/2021 1:18am 03/04/2021 1:45pm Telegraph & Norfolk 15000 Block of Northland Dr. Officer was on routine patrol at 9 Mile & Telegraph Rd. when he ran Victim states she parked her vehicle in the 15000 the license plate on a Red Ford Pick Up Truck. Special Attention- CSC-I Trespassing/ Resisting Arrest- 1- Arrest 03/05/2021 3:54am- 03/03/2021 10:37pm 03/06/2021 6:11am 21000 Block of Regent Ct. 27000 Block of Northwestern Hwy. (Condo’s) (Hotel) On 03/03/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 21000 Block of Officers were dispatched to Hospital in Detroit to Greenview Rd for a trespassing complaint. Investigate CSC I. Victim states she woke up in a hotel room. During the interview with the victim she advised that the suspect was related to the owner of business where she worked. Because of this relationship, the victim didn’t feel comfortable giving the suspects last name and refused to say where she worked. The victims clothing was collected and a CSC Kit was being completed by the hospital. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician responded to the hotel where the alleged incident occurred and processed the hotel room. Officers spoke to the Hotel Clerk and discovered that the victim was the person who rented the hotel room? Investigation is on-going.
Special Attention: Auto Thefts We have had several Dodge Charger Scat Packs Stolen Recently. This Past Week We Had Three Dodge Charger Scat Packs Stolen: Locations: 1)16000 Block of Harden Cir. Victim states he parked his 2018 Gray, Dodge Charger Scat Pack in his driveway on Harden Circle on 3/4/2021 at approx. 5:00pm. The following morning at approx. 9:00am victim discovered that someone had stolen his vehicle. No suspect information. 2) 23000 Block of Lawn Rd. (Apartments) Victim states she parked her 2020 Gray Dodge Charger Scat Pack in the parking lot of her Apartment Complex in the 23000 Block of Lawn Rd. The vehicle was stolen on 03/07/2021 between 1:00am- 9:45am. No suspect information. Note: DPD located the vehicle and attempted to pull the vehicle over when an unknown B/F was dropped off in the 14000 Block of Dale St. in the City of Detroit. The vehicle then took off at a high rate of speed. There was a black male driving the vehicle and a black male in the rear passenger seat. The female was sitting in the front passenger seat before
she was dropped off. The vehicle was not located after this. 3) 26000 Block of W Twelve Mile Rd (Apartments) Victim states he last saw his vehicle on 03/07/2021 around 12:30am. He discovered it missing the same morning at 1:30am. Victim parked his vehicle under his assigned car port at his Apartment Complex. There was no broken glass located where the vehicle was parked. No suspect information. Special Attention: Larceny of Packages that were ordered and delivered via Common Carrier. How to prevent this from happening to you! Recently several citizens have had packages that were delivered to their residences and apartments stolen prior to them retrieving the packages. Citizens can prevent this from happening by scheduling a specific time to have the package delivered and be waiting for the package. Citizen can also schedule the package to be picked up by themselves at the common carrier facility.
