Arts Centre Exhibitions Creative Embrace ARTISTS OF ALDINGA COMMUNITY CENTRE POTTERY Onkaparinga Gallery: 11 August – 11 September Ceramic enthusiasts and award-winning sculptors from the Aldinga Community Centre Pottery Group showcase their works in this diverse exhibition. Combining the elements of texture, form, glazes and a variety of hand-built, thrown and slab-based techniques, this exhibition features an array of pieces, from functional to figurative. Members of the group— who are tutored by volunteers—have embraced the conceptual, creative, technical aspects of making ceramics, in addition to the therapeutic benefits that come with the art. 27
