Polish Defense Industry Polish Defense Industry The Battle of Grunwald The Battle of Grunwald is one of the greatest battles in POLand the history of medieval Europe. It was fought on the 15th of July, 1410. The battle was a part of the great war be- tween the forces of the Teutonic Knights, assisted by West European knights, under the command of the Grand Master Ulrich von Jungingen, and the combined Polish and Lithuanian forces, under the command of the Polish king Wladyslaw II Jagiello.
