Game Day Procedures
All event-day communications will take place in the dedicated #2v2-showcase
event channel in the Lambton Esports Discord server.
First round matches are scheduled for 2pm on Saturday June 5 th, 2021. All teams and
players are required to check in on the dedicated tournament Discord channel by
1:50pm. If we receive no communication from a team by 2:00pm, tournament
administrators will view this as a forfeit and advance the bracket accordingly.
Bracket will be hosted at www.challonge.com/Lambton2v2. Seeding will be
randomized prior to the start of the event. Random teams may be granted a first-round
bye depending on the number of registered teams.
Teams must be prepared and ready in the match lobby by scheduled game start, if this
is not the case after 10 minutes then a penalty may be enacted (up to a forfeit.)
Orange and Blue teams will be designated based off the teams’ positions in the bracket.
Orange for the top of the bracket and Blue for the bottom. Scores will be reported by
the winning team after each match is completed – we recommend taking a screenshot
of the results or saving a replay to avoid disputes.
In the event of a disconnect the game will be paused while allowing the player who
disconnected 5 minutes to attempt to reconnect. If the player is unable to rejoin the
game can either be continued with the team being one player down or forfeit. If the
game servers happen to go down or multiple players from both teams are disconnected
the game may be replayed.
Roster substitutions cannot be made during a game. The current game must finish
before a substitute can enter and continue the match.
In the event of game servers not functioning, widespread internet / power outage or
other event beyond our control prevents the tournament from taking place at the
scheduled date and time, a raincheck date of Sunday June 6 th, 2021, at 2:00pm will be
implemented. If the raincheck date does not permit the tournament to take place, the
tournament will be cancelled.
As this is a single-day tournament, rescheduling requests will not be considered.
Event Broadcast
Select matches may be broadcast on the Lambton Esports Twitch stream throughout
the tournament at www.twitch.tv/lambtonesports. Teams will be notified prior to their
match if it is selected for broadcast.
Players are permitted to stream their own point-of-view gameplay with a delay of at least
3 minutes enabled.

Prizing
All prizes are awarded in the currency of Canadian dollars (CAD, CDN, $).
Prizes will be distributed via cheque and mailed to winners within 30 days of the
conclusion of the event.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for an alternative prize.
If it is discovered that a participant violated any rules outlined in the Player Conduct
section of this document after the event has concluded, the player will be considered
retroactively disqualified from the event, and the awarding of their prize will be nullified.
Prize Amounts
1st place - $250 split evenly among all registered team members
2nd place - $150 split evenly among all registered team members
3rd place - $90 split evenly among all registered team members
