IN WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT
ITEM HANDLING BY WEIGHT
Items by weight are an important element in the pL-Store® Foodline. Items are often
managed on unit basis but invoiced to the customer by kilogram. Other items, such
as apples or bananas, are only managed in kilograms. Our function for “item handling
by weight” can process both versions optimally.
BATCH MANAGEMENT
The batch management in the pL-Store® Foodline will track your batches seamlessly
throughout the process chain. We offer multiple options for this. The batch can be
transferred by interface from your merchandise management system or specified in
the query in goods receipt.
BEST-BEFORE DATE
Our best-before date function lets you enter the BBDs right at the article, permitting
seamless quality inspection of the articles. You can also sort the articles by best-before
date right at goods receipt.
PALLET MANAGEMENT/LHE MANAGEMENT
Our handling unit equipment functions (in short: HU) will improve your management
of pallets and other load handling equipment. In- and outbound handling units will
be recorded and managed directly in the system, increasing transparency and trackability
of your pallets.

VOLUME CALCULATION
Avoid costs and lack of utilization of your handling unit equipment during transport!
Our volume calculation will select the matching handling unit equipment in advance.
Our system uses the data stored with the article (length, width, height, weight)
to determine the volume and suggest a matching handling unit.
SPECIAL CUSTOMER ORDERS
The procedure of special customer orders applies automatically when pL-Store® Foodline
receives a corresponding customer order in the goods in position. This reserves
the goods for that customer order, to be picked only when the customer order for that
inventory is submitted.
MULTI-CLIENT CAPABILITY
Are you managing inventories from different clients/customers in your warehouse?
Our client function will help you with them. The pL-Store® Foodline lets you manage
and control your inventories customer-specific.
SHOP CONNECTION
Do you have your own cash and carry market, where customers are independently
supplied with items? Our shop connection records the inventory-managed goods at
the checkout and hands over the corresponding orders via an interface. Then the
goods are booked out of the market inventories.
