Number of spectators The number of spectators is set at 200 people maximum, corresponding to the number of headsets that we can provide. C These places can be grouped or spread over different places or floors depending on the progress of the work. C 4.3. Access and secure area. The space of the spectators as well as its access will have to be secured while keeping as much as possible its rough aspect (dusty, unfinished, tools, etc ...) 5. TECHNICAL AREAS 5.1. PIANO area We need a space for the preparation of the piano, its crane hook and the hold (during the night and before the performance) and this, in the area of span of the crane. Its access must be possible at all times and at the same level. Various options must be studied to find the most practical and aesthetic (if it is in public view). Site inspection A tracking on the site with the event organisers, the site manager, the technical manager and a representative of the main contractor is, with exception, obligatory. At least 2 representatives of PIANO VERTICAL will be present. WEATHER CONDITIONS 7.1. Precipitation With its lid closed, the grand piano has been specially fitted to be watertight. Therefore, the performance can take place even in case of reasonable rainfall, ... as the player is not fully waterproofed. 7.2. Wind Wind is a determining factor for this performance. in case of wind, the performance may be postponed. Decision will be taken according to the conditions on site. 7.3. Temperature Temperature has a direct influence on the pianist. Ideal performance temperature is between 10 degrees and 40 degrees. The ORGANISER shall contact PIANO VERTICAL for special climatic conditions. 7.4. Decision protocol The technical team of PIANO VERTICAL will study the weather forecast with help of the local meteorological services previously contacted by the ORGANISER. If necessary, the performance may be delayed, postponed, interrupted or cancelled. The final decision will be taken by PIANO VERTICAL. 8. TRANSPORT PROVIDED BY PIANO VERTICAL 8.1. Piano and accessories transport The piano and its accessories will be transported by PIANO VERTICAL by road or by air (in line flight only for reasons of humidity in the hold) le piano ainsi que ses accessoires. These transport costs are fully included in the fee. 8.2. Douanes VERTICAL PIANO includes all customs taxes in the member countries of the Convention A.T.A. Temporary storage For reasons of customs delay, the piano and its accessories can be delivered (especially when transported by plane) before the arrival on site of the team of PIANO VERTICAL. The ORGANIZER will be asked to provide a storage space for the goods. The latter must be secured (locked) and with a stable humidity. Its access door must be at least 185cm and it will take a pallet truck with long forks K (160cm or 180cm) to move the box containing the piano! The Grand Piano The piano is provided by PIANO VERTICAL. it is a real YAMAHA C3 grand piano (186 cm), with a special and unique technical device, allowing the piano hammers to be played vertically. Therefore, there is no other way to use another piano! The performance is done without the cover of the piano (strings to sight) except in case of strong winds or risks of bad weather. 9.2. Hanging The piano is suspended by 2 points. A bar crosses the tail of the piano from side to side and 2 eyelets allow it to hang vertically. 9.3. Accordage A complete piano tuning will be requested on site, (the day before the service or the day of the service), by our official tuner. This tuning will be done with the piano in a horizontal position, in a tempered room (the container for example), shielded from bad weather and noise pollution provided by the ORGANISER. Duration: around 2 hours. 10. HOOKS THE PIANO VERTICALLY TO THE CRANE 10.1. Security During the identification, we will evaluate, with the site management and the crane operator, the possible movements according to the characteristics of the site and the model of the crane.. 10.2. Flight choreography The flights of the piano are elaborated upstream on all the authorized wingspan of the crane on 3 axes (up / down, advanced and retreated and rotation with 360 ° on the axis of the drum). They will be executed by the usual crane operator of the site, under the indications (live) of our director. These manipulations require a rehearsal the day before the performance. "Imaginary Sounds Of Wall" is a musical work for solo piano and pre-recorded and live recording live sounds. All of these sound universes are broadcast in professional audio headphones with "closed listening" (isolated from external sounds). It is therefore possible that we may ask for the extinction of certain sources. PIANO VERTICAL supplied 200 headphones and the ORGANISER is guarantor for all the duration of the exploitation (assembly, shows, storage between representation, cleaning, dismantling, …) 15.2. Taking headphones Unless otherwise indicated, the helmets will be given to the spectators at the cashier's office or at the controls of the tickets with, if necessary, counterparts (identity card, deposit, etc.). The operation of the helmets is very simple and the setting up is within the reach of all types of audience. In spite of this, the reception staff (the underwriters) will be available to advise the spectators 15.3. Back headphones At the end of the performance, a procedure of return of all the helmets will have to be put in place by the ORGANISER in order to avoid the loss or the theft. Each missing piece will be charged to the ORGANISER. "Room sheet" ... 15.4. Hand Programmes PIANO VERTICAL will provide the ORGANISER with the content of a notice of performance. It will include a description of the show, distribution, partners and co-producers and a mini manual (in drawing) of the use and management of the helmet. The draw is the responsibility of the ORGANISER (if possible black white / duplex on recycled A4 paper) 15.5. INSURANCES AND SURVEILLANCE TO BE PROVIDED BY THE ORGANIZER 16.1. Theft, vandalism,… The ORGANISER shall contract all relevant insurances against theft, damages, etc... at no extra cost for PIANO VERTICAL. These insurances shall cover all possible incidents which may happen to all or part of the equipment provided by PIANO VERTICAL, from arrival on site until departure. A detailed list of the material to be insured can be provided on demand. 16.2. Equipment safety The ORGANISER shall make all arrangements for the supervision of the installations and shall provide the personnel for the guarding of the installations, if necessary. PROVIDED BY PIANO VERTICAL 16.3. Special liability insurance PIANO VERTICAL has a special liability insurance covering performance in PIANO VERTICAL outdoors and indoors around the world. (USA and Canada, supplement to the request). A copy of it can be obtained on request. 17. REQUESTED CREW TO BE PROVIDED BY THE ORGANISER 17.1.
