ABOUT NYCWFF Meet the Founder Lee Brian Schrager is the Senior Vice President, Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, LLC. Widely recognized for his creation of the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach and New York City Wine & Food Festivals, which have raised more than $40 million to date for charity, Schrager is also a regular contributor for Ocean Drive magazine and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Pérez Art Museum Miami and Board of Directors for Food Bank For New York City, as well as a judge for Forbes’ annual 30 Under 30 list and Celebrated Living’s annual Platinum List Awards.

NYCWFF felt the unimaginable impact that COVID-19 had on the hospitality industry across the nation, and especially in our own backyard. New York City restaurants have been the champions and the backbone of our Festival—it was our turn to be there for them. NYCWFF 2020 was designed to meet the urgency and the challenges of the moment, while keeping the safety of all attendees and participants our number one priority. The October Festival looked and felt different, but our commitment was unchanged — to connect people with world-class chefs, restaurants and bars all while continuing to support God’s Love We Deliver and Food Bank For New York City, whose missions are now more crucial than ever.
