Description
   The Finnish SME has developed an innovative smartphone application for indoor cycling
   games. The company was established in 2019. The first game version is however dated back to
   2011 - it was a mobile app with no cycling or fitness value, without website and community.
   In 2015 unique fitness game algorithm was invented, and working demo was shown to limited
   group of testers. Idea of using smartphone as a stride rate measurement device and performing
   data through the interned instead of coupling local computer with special sensors - this idea is
   still revolutionary, it has not been implemented it this way earlier.
   The fitness game has been launched as a community-based non-profit project in 2016. Current
   company is established based on this.

    Currently the app is available in Google Play and App Store, and was installed more than 1500
    times by people all over the globe. Most of the players are in Europe. The feedbacks are

gathered and user experiences are improved.

    Indoor cycling video game app helps motivate their customers to exercise by engaging them in
    exciting games. Indoor cycling can be monotonous, but the visual and game elements make it
    exciting.
    For the users installation of the application is easy, just download it to a smart phone. The
    application itself detect the motions, so connection to a sensor is not needed.

    The company is looking for

    - exercise bikes manufacturers and sellers
    - cruising companies
    - schools, hospitals, hotels and recreation facilities

    as licensees of indoor cycling video game on white label model.

    Indoor exercise bike manufacturers can put their logo or advertisement at any point of the video
    game. The game is an added-value. With this free workout entertainment any traditional
    excercise bike becomes a "smart-bike", capable to compete with the top-tier models.

    The gyms, hotels and other recreation fasilities can set up the screens for their customers to
    watch the video game while exercising. This is easy, because any existing hardware can be
    used. The screen shows game scene and offers customers to install free app and enter the gym
    name in the phone. The moment the game begins, users can enjoy the scenery, music and
    competition. On finish, the results go to the World ranking table - one of the engagement and
    motivation tools.

    Hospitals can utilize the game to motivate the patients for rehabilitation.

    The benefit of the application is to give users the meaning and motivation to workout.

Advantages and Innovations
   1. The product is the only game (out of 13 global competitors) that can be used with absolutely
   any hardware. Anyone can play the game with any exercise bike and any smartphone.

    2. Exercise bike manufacturers can give their customer free workout entertainment. This makes
    exercise bikes peoples best friends: any €100 bike becomes a smart bike able to compete with
    top-tier exercise bikes priced at €2000.

    3. Every player's request is fulfilled. Below are examples of the unique features based on the
    user feedback:

    - "Travel the World" page that offers interactive cycling videos sorted by city;

    - (in beta) "Crazy" page featuring BMX parcour (riding city roofs on the bike) and wingsuite
    flights and "Motivational" page featuring stunning scenery videos, mostly mountain views. These
    videos are never used in indoor cycling, because they are short - less than 5 minutes. The new
    playlist function makes batches of these videos usable for indoor cycling.

- Instant progress monitoring. Every pedal stroke gives a player 0.002 calories lost and 0.01
    points for the World rankings. This is shown on the screen, that makes people feel every move
    matters. That's exactly what people need: to make the workout meaningful.
