Head’s Welcome Welcome to Parents’ Day 2021, back where it belongs after the 2020 COVID cancelled year. In 2020 we had a really impressive Virtual Parents’ Day with music, dance, drama and art all happening in different streams online. Now we’re back in the very real, tangible and colourful world of the Bedales campus, with many of the fruits of lock-down creativity on show. ‘Chariots of Fire’, brilliantly reconceived for the stage reaches back to 1924, and has its 100m final in the theatre in the afternoon, before which the Art and Design exhibitions, the Dance and Drama studio, and the Lupton Hall will each be hosting the best of Bedales creativity. Once again the smack of leather on willow and thwack of racket on ball can be heard on the pitches and courts, and the sound of jazz permeates through the air. I hope you will find your way to all the exhibitions curated by the staff and students and that you enjoy this celebration of Bedales life. Magnus Bashaarat Head
