Expense List 2021-2022 The Awana Clubs are designed to include a clubber uniform (AWANA WEAR) to which Emmanuel has adapted to serve our Awana Ministry. PARENT COPY We are very excited that your child will be a part of our Awana ministry this year! The goal for our Awana Ministry is to create an environment that helps children know Jesus, love Jesus, and serve Jesus. This goal is reached through gospel presentations, bible story examination, Scripture memorization and student application. As a parent/ guardian, we ask that you support our expectation and guidelines by making sure that your participating clubber knows and follows them. Awana Expectations / Guidelines 1. Clubber’s be familiar with the weekly memory verse that is printed the the Clubber’s Scripture Memory Verse Handbook prior to Wednesday night Awana. 2. Clubber’s be dressed in appropriate/modest attire. . .no short shorts/skirts, nothing so tight that its over-revealing. No inappropriate slogan or logo wear. A good reason to wear Awana Wear 3. Clubber’s need to wear closed toe shoes for active play during Awana Games 4. Clubber’s with SICKNESS need to stay home until the sickness has subsided . . .if fever, vomiting, diarrhea, cold, flu, Covid-19, undiagnosed rashes, lice, etc. -STAY HOME 5. Clubber’s demonstrating DISOBEDIENT, DISRESPECTFUL, DEFIANT, DISORDERLY behavior will not be able to remain in the Awana Ministry but will be returned to parents/ guardian 6. Clubber’s will show RESPECT to Adult Volunteer’s and fellow Clubber’s at all time 7. NO - fighting/ inappropriate physical contact/ mean spirited verbal remarks from clubbers NO - object of any kind for the use of harming other clubbers NO- inappropriate toy, gadget, or printed material An electronic device/cell phone is welcomed as long as it is being used as a Bible or used as a writing tablet to take notes. Gracious warnings will be given to individual clubbers who neglect to follow the Awana expectations and guidelines. Clubber’s who do not comply after gracious warnings will have parents notified, loss of privileges and prizes. Parents will also be contacted when a Clubber willfully and continually disobeys our Awana guidelines. ***********HOW POINTS ARE EARNED FOR THE AWANA STORE********** Clubbers earn points weekly by (1) being present /checking-in, (2) bringing their Bible, (3) being dressed in Awana Wear, (4) bringing a friend to Awana, (5) reciting the weekly memory verse during small group (6) participating in special event nights. Points will be awarded accordingly and will be used to redeem prizes throughout the year at the Awana Store and for our Awana Awards Night We want Awana to be an exciting, encouraging, and educating time for all clubber’s. In order to create an effective and efficient ministry environment, we expect all clubber’s to know and follow our Awana Ministry expectation and guidelines.
