STAND-UP COMEDY & HOSTING Experience Papa CJ has done over 2000 shows with sold out tours across 5 continents in cities including London, New York, Sydney, Johannesburg, Miami, Hong Kong, Toronto, Bali, Manchester, Singapore, Durban, Belfast, Male, Los Angeles, Kuala Lumpur, Delhi, Melbourne and Mumbai. He represented India on NBC’s TV show Last Comic Standing in 2008 and from the thousands of global contestants, he was placed in the Top 10. He was the first Indian comedian to be invited to perform at the Just for Laughs Festival in Canada and has performed multiple times at the Edinburgh Fringe. Papa CJ understands the environment of his clients and has the experience and versatility to handle any environment at any event in any country. His strength is his spontaneity and ability to interact with an audience and handle any crisis that might occur during a live event. He has performed at comedy shows, corporate shows, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and even baby showers!

Papa CJ founded the charity, 'One Child', which provides for the education, health and overall
development of children in rural India. He works with a fellow Director to raise awareness and
funds for this organisation, whose work focuses on eradicating child labour and getting children
back into the formal schooling system. One Child’s work covers formal and informal education,
child and women's health, microfinance and disaster preparedness.

WHEN HE IS NOT WORKING Golf Papa CJ is a keen golfer and in 2013 was awarded the Best Celebrity Golfer at the India Golf Awards by a jury led by Gary Player. He tends to carry his clubs when he travels for shows. Latin dance Having started to host Latin Dance festivals since 2013, Papa CJ has since caught the disease. He is currently working on improving his salsa and bachata dancing skills and you might see him at festivals across the world. Adventure sports A man who throws up a successful corporate career to become a comedian clearly has an appetite for risk! Papa CJ is a trained mountaineer who has scaled two peaks on the Indo-Nepal border in addition to climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and doing various high altitude treks. He has also been bungee jumping and skydiving.
