PANELS PRH - Direct Market Ordering Catalog for Products Shipping in June and Beyond
Hello comic retailers and fans!
Welcome to PRH Panels, the Penguin Random House catalog for the Direct Market,
highlighting the incredible graphic novels, manga, games, and more that debut every
month. We can’t wait for you to find the next story to inspire and entertain you, and the
latest games and gifts to bring you together.

We’re thrilled to welcome Dark Horse to our Comics section this month! Our first-ever
Dark Horse comic spotlight is The Oddly Pedestrian Life Of Christopher Chaos I #1, the
debut to a series described as Invincible meets Doom Patrol from the powerhouse team
of James Tynion IV (Something is Killing the Children), Tate Brombal (House of Slaughter),
and Isaac Goodhart (Victor and Nora: A Gotham Love Story)! With a team-up like that,
this LGBTQ+ horror-hero coming-of-age series is one nobody should miss.

Speaking of great LGBTQ+ horror, our Graphic Novel section features Boys Weekend,
a hilarious trans “final girl” horror from the award-winning cartoonist and editor of
The Nib! Even though Sammie hasn’t identified as a man for over a year, their formerly
closest friend Adam has asked them to be his “best man” and invited them to a bachelor
weekend in El Campo, a hedonistic wonderland of a city floating in international waters.
Dodging passive-aggressive comments is bad enough, but Sammie seems to be the
only one who notices the mysterious cult that’s also staying at the hotel? Part satire, part
horror, Boys Weekend explores what it’s like being a transfemme person in a man’s world.

Young love is in the air in our Kids & YA section with The Love Report! BFFs Grace and
Lola are taking a very scientific approach to observing, studying, and analyzing love at
their Junior High in this middle school graphic novel series debut. These two will ask
the hard hitting questions like: what makes the popular girl so alluring? Why do some
crushes crash and burn? And what’s the deal with boys, anyway?? Everything will be
compiled in The Love Report!

Our Manga section is still very light this month as FOC and catalog dates are shifted to
close up the gap in the ordering window. We do have a special manhwa (Korean comic)
to highlight with Who Made Me a Princess Vol. 1! When a modern woman is reincarnated
as the doomed baby princess in a romance novel, she’ll set out to change her fate and
keep the tyrant king from executing her! The thing is, the tyrant king…is her own father!
She’ll have to turn up the charm and become a beloved daughter to avoid getting killed
again! This massively successful webcomic is finally in print!

Finally, our Games & Gift section features The Art of Solar Opposites, the perfect addition
to any fan’s collection! Check out all-new behind the scenes art for the worlds and
characters featured in the first two seasons of Solar Opposites, as well as details on
how the hit series was developed.

All this and much, much more can be found in this month’s PRH Panels. Don’t hesitate
to explore this catalog and find the perfect new book! As always, retailers who have
any questions about the ordering process or would like to open an account with PRH,
are encouraged to email us at comicmarketUS@penguinrandomhouse.com.

Wishing you the very best,
Your US Direct Market Comic Team
