Parent Information Evening Thank you to all of the parents who attended our information sessions last Wednesday evening. I have emailed the presentation for each class to our parent email lists for you to review any information of interest. The 1/2F Parent Information Session will take place next week and parents from this class have been sent information. Class Parents Below is the finalised Class Parent list. Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered for these roles. If we had more than one volunteer for a class, a random draw was conducted to select someone. During this week you will receive an email from our school with the email of the class parent to assist them in creating a class contact list. Please look out for this. This is an opportunity to hear about the draft plan, created from staff, student and parent input, and offer feedback. Please save the date if you are interested and stay tuned for information as to how to book to attend. Swimming Carnival We are looking forward to our Years 2-6 Swimming Carnival, to be held tomorrow at Hornsby Aquatic Centre. Hopefully the weather will be fine! We understand that it is disappointing for parents not to be able to attend this year but the positive is that all students in Years 2-6 are able to enjoy this event. As we always do, there will be 25 metre events and novelty activities, along with the competitive events, such that all students can be involved. We know health restrictions are frustrating at times but please stay positive as they have helped keep us safe and there is likely better times ahead. School Crossing Our Crossing Supervisor, Grant, has requested that we pass on the following advice regarding our crossing: - Please ensure you wait away from the crossing for your child so that motorists do not think people are waiting to cross the road - Please wait away from the gate entrance so that children are not blocked from exiting - Please wait for the Crossing Supervisor’s signal to cross, as they will ensure people cross in groups in order to keep the traffic flowing and avoid congestion on Normanhurst Rd Thank you for your cooperation. Positive Behaviour for Learning Our school implements the Positive Behaviour for Learning program in both the playground and classroom settings.
