The Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend limiting calories from added sugars to less than 10% of total calories per day. Instead of drinking a sugar sweetened beverage like soda or juice, try infusing your water with fresh fruits and herbs such as basil, mint, rosemary, or lavender. This will make your water taste refreshing and is a healthier alternative to sugary drinks. How to Avoid Bad Breath Bad breath also called halitosis often starts in your mouth.
