But the girls finished 5th, and we have the potential to do even better in future. We’re only getting stronger.” The school is now punching above its weight in track and field, with two ACG Strathallan athletes – Daniel Tilsley and George AU-8360946AF Kozlov – medalling at the College Sport champs. In cross country, a number of runners will progress to inter-school championships this term, following strong performances at ACG Strathallan’s whole-school cross country earlier this month. And James also highlights the success of ACG Strathallan runner Siobhan Balle who took a clean sweep of last year’s road race titles, including a win in the New Zealand U15 Girls Road Race. James, a competitive runner who uses his background as a doctor of Chiropractic to inform his practice, says the aim of the programme at ACG Strathallan has always been to create a culture of running at the school. “I want to create a fun environment where students can develop a love of movement and exercise in order to improve their health and wellness. Some of the students are focused primarily on running, others are mixing running with winter team sports. “Since the beginning of last year, I have enjoyed seeing the shift in the sporting culture within the school.” ACG Strathallan Open Day, 25 May, 10.30am-2.30pm
