Prepare for your life at Minot State… Thank you for choosing Minot State University! Please use this guide to help make your move to campus as smooth as possible. Start with the following steps to make sure you are ready to start your journey as Minot State student. Register for New Student Orientation All new students must attend a New Student Orientation session. Once you have been admitted to Minot State, you will receive your invitation via email with a link to register for an Orientation session. Visit AskMSU.com/orientation for more information. The sessions are limited, so make your reservation early! SUMMER & FALL 2021 DATES: April 17 Additional times June 2, 3, 4, 24, & 25 may be available July 22 & 23 for you. Check your August 19 & 20 email for details! o If you would like to schedule a time to take a placement test, contact the Minot State Testing Center at 701-858-3830. o If you are an international or Canadian student, you will also be required to complete the F-1 Regulations Workshop. You will receive more information from the Office of International Programs. o Parents and guests are encouraged to attend New Student Orientation to learn more about supporting their student.
