Dear Friends, LET’S GET STARTED Our little pumpkin with a big heart is back for a third year! Are you ready to plan your event? Here’s a handy checklist! For the last two years, we have had the absolute joy of bringing Pumpkin Heroes to churches, schools and groups like yours across the UK. And because of it, hundreds of children aged 4-10 have been able READY to experience God’s love in a fun and exciting way. PUMPKIN HEROES PARTY SCHEDULE As the children arrive, have some activities on hand that don’t involve the group being all together. You can have stations for colouring the “Patch-tivity” sheet as well as for craft and treat activities (pages 10 – 12). The first rule of any kids event is to keep the children entertained (i.e. busy) at all times. And as daunting as that may seem – fear not! Here’s a schedule that you can use to ensure there is a balance Gather the children together and play a couple of games (we have of quiet and high energy activities. FIND PATCH THE PUMPKIN HUNT GETTING STARTED A day or two before your party, begin by decorating and carving your pumpkins to look like Patch and his friends – not forgetting This treasure hunt is a great way to his little heart!
