ENTREPRENEURIAL SUPPORT PROVIDING COVID-19 EMERGENCY SUPPORT On March 13, 2020, the majority of Quebec businesses closed their doors because of the pandemic. Many businesses in our territory found themselves in difficulty of meeting their financial obligations. We quickly offered our clients a complete mora- torium on their loans, in addition to setting up an emergency fund, financed entirely from our portfolio, to allow businesses in need of liquidity to wait for the government’s planned assistance measures. The business advisory team has mobilized to address the concerns of entrepreneurs. Our General Manager actively participated in a multitude of committees with our socio-economic partners to coordinate emergency assistance and recovery planning. Our financing team supported the des Pays-d’en-Haut RCM team in the analysis of financing applications received within the framework of the Emergency Assistance to Small and Medium Enterprises program, which resulted in numerous requests for financing in a short period of time. 5
