Riau Islands (or Kepulauan Riau), strategically located near the
Straits of Malacca (one of the busiest international trade shipping
route in world). Situated 20 km from Singapore, linked by logistics
networks. The Islands is an ideal place to absorb investment
from other countries.

The greatest contributor to the economy of the Riau Islands is
manufacturing sector, the principal output of which includes
electronics components, machinery and refined CPO. Trade and
hospitality also one of largest sources of revenue. Mining and
Quarrying—primarily of natural gas production as well as bauxite,
granite, and tin—has long been an important activity in the region,
besides construction sector which significantly driven the economy.
