The rising exports will include an increasing share from Indian agriculture and related products. Dhanakumar The Institute Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM), centre of excellence and the first of its kind National Institute, was established at the initiative of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The Institute is co-promoted by the Commodity Boards of India, viz., Coffee Board, Rubber Board, Tea Board, Spices Board, Tobacco Board and Plantation Industry Associations. IIPM has been conceived as a world renowned academic institution focusing on the field of plantation and associated agribusiness and commodity management education. IIPM has educational membership with The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB-USA) & European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD-Brussels) and obtained permanent accreditation from Higher Learning Accreditation Commission of Texas (HLACT-USA).

India has a significant role to play in the evolving global supply chain for products and services, thus creating huge prospects for the growth of the country’s agricultural exports to major markets worldwide. Our PGDM: AEBM aims to generate a large pool of competent and committed professionals to take up the varied business management roles in the India’s Export Sector. The program will enable the students to acquire the requisite knowledge, skills and attitude critical for tapping the vast employment potential and start-up opportunities emerging in this sector. PGDM: AEBM offers a comprehensive curriculum that is entirely application-oriented in order to achieve this objective. The meticulously designed courses in all the six trimesters will be taught jointly by experienced academicians, industry experts and business practitioners using a blend of lectures, case study discussions, workshops, field research work, organisational internships and several interactive learning methodologies. The program is for 100 weeks and has a total of 102 credits.
