canaries of the sea for their beautiful melodic song, the 40-ton, 60-foot adults are even more awe-inspiring as they approach you with amazing

Today, you have the opportunity to swim with the marine life that lives in the waters surrounding Moorea. The focus of the day will be finding and
snorkeling with the humpback whales who have made the long migration from Antarctic waters to mate and give birth in the warm waters of
Moorea. Of course, we can’t plan wildlife sightings, but the chances are high that you will come upon these gentle giants on your adventure today.
French Polynesia is one of the few places in the world where it’s possible to swim with majestic humpbacks. French Polynesia is classified
as an Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), a wildlife sanctuary where, among other things, drift fishing is prohibited, earning it top honors from
the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
After this once-in-a-lifetime chance to swim with humpbacks, you’ll head back inside Moorea’s Lagoon for an opportunity to snorkel with black-tip
reef sharks and stingrays, before being taken back to the hotel where the remainder of the day will be yours for relaxing and enjoying as you like.

The Mahana’i Restaurant: Start your day in typical Polynesian surroundings with a tasty buffet breakfast where you’ll find all the tastes and aromas
of Moorea. The refined ambiance of the restaurant is in line with the chef’s sophisticated creations, a delightful combination of the flavors of
France and the tastes of Polynesian cuisine—and no meal would be complete without one of the pastry chef’s mouth-watering desserts. This
restaurant serves breakfast and dinner daily.
Autera’a Terrace & Bar: The exotic setting of the poolside terrace and bar is the ideal place to find yourself among friends. From noon to 9:30
pm, choose from a range of light dishes and Polynesian specialties. At the end of the day, the bar staff will prepare your favorite drink, or choose
something special from the cocktail menu to sip under the stars. The bar is open from 10 am to 11 pm.
Matiehani Lounge Bar: Tucked away at the Manava Beach Resort & Spa, this bar is an exciting spot to sip wine and enjoy music. There is an im-
pressive selection of wine and specialty cocktails. The relaxing atmosphere is truly a tropical hangout with good music paired with fabulous wine,
