letter from the PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER Dear Friends, Thousands of moments came together to make 2019 a year the Living for Zachary Family will never forget. Between the milestones hit, the lives changed, and the friendships made, I am continually astonished by the impact made as our team of thousands throughout North Texas fights on for a future where sudden cardiac arrest is defeated. June of 2019 marked Living for Zachary’s ten-year anniversary. Throughout the year, we had many moments to reflect on our humble beginnings as we screened more young hearts, donated more AEDs, and certified more citizens in CPR. We created new partnerships, brainstormed with others who share our common goals, and launched new initiatives. Most importantly, we looked towards the next decade and resolved once more to press on until every family is reached and every young life is saved. It is only because of your dedication, passion and commitment as part of the Living for Zachary Family we have come this far, and because of you we will go further. Thank you for the time, talent, resources and heart you have given to this life-saving mission. While each year ahead will have its successes and challenges, I am confident we will go on to make an even greater impact in our community, saving children’s lives and bringing hope to families across Texas. I started Living for Zachary to honor the life and legacy of my son Zac Schrah. Today, his legacy lives on in every child we 2 Letter from the Founder save, every life we touch, and every member of our Family. There is still work to be done and with a passion burning 3 Mission brighter than ever, we won’t stop until the fight is won. 4 Impact 5 Heart Screening Program Together, we are Living for Zachary.
