2020, do we make
a "wellness plan"?

Dear readers,
good habits are known, they are not easy to take. The thousand
commitments, inertia, laziness. However, there are "turning points",
anniversaries and dates that help us reset everything and start from
scratch. And what better occasion than the beginning of the new year
to plan our physical and mental well-being? Some changes, despite our
iron willpower, take time to get into our routine. Maybe in 2019 we
only started thinking that we should take more care of ourselves, and
we worked on the mental sphere. And now is the time to take action!
Each new start gives us a strong charge, and also the right momentum
to undertake new activities. For those who have already taken good
care of themselves, well, keep it up, and if you want to do even better,
try to involve friends and relatives in your wellness activities! The
advice is always the same: make undemanding but long-lasting plans,
because good practices that last over time are the best. Do you follow
the rule of 5 daily fruit and vegetable meals? Do you walk or do you run
at least one hour a week? Do you do any breathing and relaxation
exercises before bed? Do you stop at least once a day to think about
what you have already done, before thinking about what you still have
to do? A mid-afternoon herbal tea? How about buying a new plant and
taking care of it? Or to give well-being to others, doing a few hours of
social volunteering or if you don't have time making a small donation to
those who take care of those who are less fortunate than us and have
little time for their well-being? Turning these good intentions into
actions is easy: take a calendar, and start setting goals. Few,
reachable, one a month or the same every month. And the wellness
plan is done. May the new year bring serenity to everyone, in the name
of well-being and the right balance.

        Since our great-grandmothers went to the grocery
        store and from the "greengrocer" under the house to do
        the shopping, it's been a long time! In today's large
        supermarkets you can find practically everything,
        dozens of varieties of the same product, products of
        many brands and for all budgets. It is not uncommon to
        find food products that arrive from the other side of the
        planet. The modern consumer is increasingly attentive
        to bio, is quite informed and less and less loyal to the
        brand, preferring convenience and goodness. But with

Is there the perfect shopping?
We assume that the answer to the title question is necessarily
no: there is no perfect shopping, but, if anything, a correct
shopping. What does correct mean?

The Mediterranean model
As a point of reference we always have the Mediterranean
model both as regards the choices to be made between the
departments and for the frequency of each food group,
therefore the recommendations do not vary according to the
consumer (if we consider only men not affected by diseases),
but on the quantities.

First suggestion
The first point to reach the goal is variety, in fact a shopping cart
always full of the same things is a cart that probably does not
respect the seasonality and even less the principles of the
Mediterranean model.

What must not be missing
The foods that should never be missing are certainly fruits and
vegetables which, rich in minerals, antioxidants and fiber, have
numerous benefits on our body; pasta and all the various forms
of cereals (including barley, spelled, buckwheat...), as they must
be present once a day; fish is also decidedly fundamental since
its frequency should be greater than that of meat, and thanks
to its content of fatty acids w-3 plays a preventive role against
many diseases; but meat is also not to be forgotten as a source
of easily digestible proteins; dairy products and eggs are many
important highly versatile protein sources.

if every day gyms and fitness centers churn out new courses, specific dances and
workouts, from the simplest to the most complex, few disciplines have been able to
quickly conquer massive sections of the public till the point of giving birth to gyms
dedicated exclusively to them. Instead, it is the case of Calisthenics, who found a home in
the Alessandro Antonietti gym, the "Calisthenics Torino" in Turin. Why so?

                                                                   2      What is his story and how does it arrive in Italy?
                                                                          Well, actually this training technique that seems to be
