2021 RPSBS Annual MEDIA KIT
The Riding Pony Stud Book Society Ltd
The Riding Pony Stud Book Society had its humble beginnings in 1975 when a group of enthusiastic people joined together to
promote this widely versatile riding pony. Since then the Riding Pony has developed into a much-loved pony breed that has
outstanding success not only in the Show Ring but as a much loved child’s pony for all disciplines.
Today the society currently has over 1,500 enthusiastic members who show and breed the Australian Riding Pony. The society’s
main office is located in Richmond, NSW with the Australian Arabian Horse Society who run the office management and registry
for the RPSBS Ltd.

The RPSBS Ltd has an active and up to date website which is the hub for all
things Riding Pony, including the online stud book, up to date rules and
regulations and an online library which includes Riding Pony publications back
to 1977. Three years ago the State Committee websites were consolidated into
the National Website to enable communication to be uniform across all the
States and the National body.
The website averages approximately 5,000 unique visits every month and
approximately 9,000 visits every month.
Social Media
The RPSBS Ltd recently appointed a professional publicity team to maintain
the website and social media channels. The Facebook page currently has over
3,600 followers and within weeks of starting an Instagram account we have over
1,300 followers with each post gaining over 100 organic likes. These channels
are now increasing with active followers each day.
Email Communication
Currently the society communicates with it’s members throughout the year
via regular monthly email bulletins. This email is also distributed to general
subscribers.
RPSBS Annual Publication
This is a yearly much loved publication that all members look forward to
receiving in the mail. It is the only printed publication received by members.
A quality full colour publication of approximately 180 pages that summarises
the year along with interesting articles, stud promotion, and a stallions and
products directory. The annual is distributed to all members, published online
for the general public to view, and also given to new members.
Promotion
The RPSBS advertises regularly in publications such as Horse Deals and
sponsors events such as the EA Show Horse Nationals. They are also developing
a number of incentives including awarding Society transaction vouchers to
successful exhibits at selected classes at the Grand Nationals and EA Nationals
and National Annual High Point Awards.
