Conference Notes:
   • Not including future Southeastern Conference members Oklahoma and Texas, the SEC’s current membership had four teams that qualified for
the 2022 MCWS (Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss, Texas A&M). That ties the most representatives from one league in the same MCWS. The SEC
previously did it in 1997, 2004, 2015 and 2019, while the Atlantic Coast Conference accomplished the feat in 2006.
   • Though six different SEC schools have won the baseball national championship, the four SEC teams in Omaha this year are all searching for
       their first national title.
   • Since 1993, every MCWS that's been held has had at least one SEC team.
   • The 2022 MCWS is the just the second time that four teams from one conference have won at least one game in the same MCWS. The only
other instance was also by the SEC in 1997.
   • The SEC is guaranteed a team in the MCWS Finals for the 13th time in the past 14 MCWS as Ole Miss, Arkansas and Auburn remain on the
       one side of the bracket.
   • Four of the teams in the 2022 MCWS field were on the road for both the Regionals and Super Regionals (Arkansas, Notre Dame, Oklahoma,
Ole Miss), tying the most ever in the Super Regional era that started in 1999 (2016 – Arizona, Coastal Carolina, Oklahoma State, UC Santa
Barbara). Since 1999, the only two teams to win the MCWS without playing a home game in the Regional or Super Regional round were Coastal
Carolina (2016) and Fresno State (2008).
   • This year marks the eighth time the Big 12 has had multiple MCWS participants, but first time since 2018 (Texas Tech, Texas).
