UPDATES • 15 Schools – 32 teams • Team may have 14 Raiders, 10 competing • Rope Bridge – Standard 6th BDE SOP. Rope in bag • Run 1.5 Miles. All teams start in 1-minute increments. Line up on track 0845. Will have a master sheet with times but coaches required to record their respective team times as a backup and QC check. • CCR – Short but challenging (.35 Miles) • RFC – Equipment might change slightly as I have not been able to test setup on football field (practice/games). Teams will have 1-minute before event begins to arrange/lift equipment and develop strategies. Leadership and teamwork will be crucial. • Relay - • Best Raider – If time permits. 1 male and 1 female per school. Details included. Not part of competition, not mandatory. If you decide to participate, please choose your participant carefully. Course no joke. • Only coaches and competing teams allowed inside gated track area. (COVID)
• Use address 2451 Kennedy Lane SW, Marietta 30060 to get to the rear of the school • There will be road guards to assist with parking • Bus: park in bus lanes • Cars park in Lot D, E or A for overflow • Kennedy lane will be closed from 0845 to 0945 for the JROTC team run. Lot D will not be accessible during these times Bus • School areas may be setup Parking Lots, D and E. Lot D is closes to the events and usually accommodates 24 schools. We have 14 for this meet. Please, please dispose of all trash. • Rest rooms are in the stadium • Coaches meeting in JROTC department Room. Access from Parking lot D. 2nd floor. Signs will be posted. • Spectators not allowed in track area

1. Begin on track 2. Run around track and exit through gate 3. Turn left and run between cafeteria and • 0900 – gym 1000 4. Turn right on sidewalk • Uniform: along Favor Road Tan or 5. 1. Start with 5 Rucks and litter. Rucks Male & 3’ Wall 8’ Wall Mixed 35 lbs. Female 25 lbs. Litter Male 140, Mixed 130, Female 120 lbs. Negotiate low crawl with rucks. Hill 2. Litter Crew: Place litter in drop zone and negotiate low crawl. Continue up hill, over 8’ wall. Retrieve litter and continue on the course. Low 3. Rucks/Raiders carrying litter: negotiate low Crawl crawl with rucks. Proceed up hill to gate. Turn left to 8’ wall. All ten Raiders and 5 Rucks must go over wall. 4. Proceed through gate and into the trail on Litter Drop Zone Start / the right. Stay on trail and within caution tape and turn left into the trail. Proceed up Finish hill and turn left to high stepper and 4’ wall. High All raiders and equipment must go over 4’ wall. Caution: Ensure at lease one Raider is Tires Stepper on the far side of the 4’ wall to hold litter. 5. After 4’ wall stay to the right and procede to tires. 4’ wall 6. Negotiate tires in any manner and place all equipment with the marked area. There will be an area for each team (Male, Mixed and female) 7. All ten Raiders and equipment must be inside the deginated area. 8. TEAM CAPTAIN MUST CALL TIME WHEN ALL TEAM MEMBERS AND EQUIPMENT IN WITHIN THE MARKED AREA. Judge will stop time and count equipment and Raiders. 5- minute Penalty per instance for missing Raiders and equipment. 9. Penalty for dropping equipment.

Male and Mixed Raider Fitness Course (RFC) • 10 Raiders must negotiate various obstacles. Team captain must devise a plan to move equipment from point A to B and back to point A in the most efficient manner possible. Planning and teamwork will be the key to success. – Course will be on the main football field. All 10 Raiders working as a team negotiate the course. Team can assist each other in any manner but cannot go back in the course after crossing the finish line. – Football field will be divided into 2 lanes. Male/Mixed and Female – Each team will be given 1-minute before start of event to arrange and or test weight of equipment – 1. Start by going through tires (high stepper). No penalty for falling but a foot must go in each tire – 1A. Execute Bear crawl – 2. Move 15 water cans 50 yards – 3. Flip tire 20 yards and push 2 sleds 20 yds – 4. Negotiate a weave. No Penalty for knocking over the weave barrel IF IT IS PLACED IN ITS ORIGINAL POSITION. If barrel it knocked over and not returned to its original position, the team will incur a 30-second penalty for each occurrence) – 5. Move 2 35lbs, 4 30lbs, 2 25lbs Kettle Bells, 2 ammo cans and a 2 2-person carry box 40 yards. – Move a 250lbs 10-person object 40yrds around a cone, place in its original position. ALL 10 RAIDERS MUST BE PRESENT WITH HANDS-ON THE BOAT BEFORE MOVING OR ATTEMPTING TO MOVE IT. – Complete the course in reverse replacing each object in its original position. – Time stops when the last Raider negotiates the tires and crosses the finish line. – ALL EQUIPMENT MUST BE IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION BEFORE TIME STOPS (WATER CANS AND KETTLE BELLS). No penality if equipmentfalls over but must be in upright position befor time is stopped.+

2.5 miles (4,000 Meters) RELAY RUN 1. TASK: Each 10-member Raider Team must complete 1 lap around a track 400 meters long. Each Raider will run/walk 400 meters (once around the track) wearing a 25lb weighted vest. 2. All Raider Team members must individually run the course while wearing a 25lb weighted vest. 3. The receiving member will be stationary at a designated start / receiving line and remain there until the current member running the track completes the lap and tags the new runner. 4. The new runner /next runner will also be wearing a 2nd vest and positioned in their respective assigned lane. 5. The new runner will immediately run the designated lap tag/touch the next member and so on until all 10 members complete one lap for the total of 10 laps. 6. The Raider running the lap does not have to stay in their assign lane but must be in their assigned lane before tagging the next runner or completing the 10th lap. 7. If for any reason a Raider Team member drops out, the Team will be assessed a 5-minute penalty per dropout.
Relay Concept • First two runners putting on vests and identifying the last/anchor runner. • The last runner will be given a colored vest which must be worn and be visible when crossing the finish line. • When told to report to the starting line, the first Team member will move forward, and a judge will give the command “Get Ready” and “Go”. • The rest of the team will be in a staging area and one at a time will move to the start / receiving line when the judge directs them to. • After a lap, give the vest to the next runner and move to a designated area away from the cadets that have not ran. • Time will stop when the last member crosses the finish line of the 10th lap. • Time stops when the 10th runner crosses the finish line wearing the colored vest.

Best Raider ( 2 Heats). Best time for Male and F Female wins. 1. Start on football field facing South Endzone 2. Carry 2 water cans 200 yards returning to start point. Place the can down. 3. Put on a 25-pound vest and turn left onto track 4. Proceed out of gate and turn left. Continue behind bleachers into the woods. 5. Turn left at top of hill and go through high stepper and over 4’ wall. start 6. Negotiate the low crawl (Do not go up hill) END 7. Re-enter track through gate to left. 8. Run on track to end point.
